The advertised height is alittle misleading. It looks kinda small.

Certainly not a quick plug in and go light
Luckily, my husband is an electrician. Wires AND AN ELECTRICAL PLUG needed to be bought and attached, along with a cord. This is is no way ready to be used. Much assembly is required, in PARTICULAR THE ELECTRICAL ELEMENT of this light. I was looking for a light that was ready to be plugged in and used, and this certainly is not that light. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Not the height as advertised.
The light itself seems to be working as expected. I am disappointed that the height is 5" shorter than advertised.

it's a bit too small for a large home, maybe in a tiny house
while the lamp post was as stated, for a normal or larger home it looks out of place.

Heavy duty metal lamp post
This is a Black Hard Wired Waterproof Outdoor Lamp Post Light with Clear Glass. The lamp comes unassembled in a box but is easy to put together. It is metal construction and has a nice hard painted finish. The metal is thick and well supported. There is no flex. The lamp comes with a flat base that can be bolted to a deck and a stake base that can be pushed into the ground so it gives you more than one option for mounting. The short post makes the lamp about 79cm high which is the advertised height. It is a pathway light and not an area lamp.The lamp takes a standard light bulb with an E26 base so you can put any normal household light bulb in it. I found that a warm filament type LED lamp gave it a nice glow for an old fashioned lamp look. The lamp does require a 120V circuit, so it needs to have the proper electrical wiring and connections to operate.The lamp looks really nice as a pathway lamp or as an accent lamp for a garden. It gives our path an elegant look. This is a higher end lamp than most garden or pathway lamps.
