Slart looking. Ornament good to look at n good weight
I love this item.its smart has a good weight to. Looks good feels good.But what they dont say online. Is that it can't be used as a stick they wait until its delivered . And u get a slip of paper not to be used

beautiful cane but already damaged on delivery
This is a beautiful product. I really like the detail and colour and overall look. weight and lenght are also optimal for me.Unfortunately as soon as I unwrapped the cane when it was delivered I noticed that the tip seemed to be missing. On further examination of the box I found it lying loosely at the bottom. Although I tried to reattach it it will not stick to the end of the cane. Now I resigned myself to having to glue it on if I want to use the cane with tip attached. Really sad at this lack of quality in an otherwise very nice product.

Not as good as it looks!
As a prop it's ok at best I'm afraid. Casting and engraving details are amateur and not as refined as they appear in the pictures. The spike was loose on the bottom.If I'd paid under 30 pounds I would have been less disappointed and probably kept it.However for 80 pounds I was expecting far far better quality.Very annoyed as I was looking forward to using it.

A beautiful Mountain walking stick and beautifully designed
A fantastic walking stick to have beautiful features.However if you want to use this item other than walking in the mountains or on soft ground you will need to change the ferrule for a sturdy rubber on as it tends to slip if leaning on it also please be aware that you may be stopped by the authorities from using it in public places as it could be mistaken for a weapon. Unfortunately for this reason I have to return it

Well worth the price, makes a change from the knackered cheapo stick I`ve been using. Regarding the issue of the Pewter spike, it actually comes off quite easily to fit a rubber ferrule, making it a SAFE / USEABLE walking stick.The character and craftsmanship of this item is beyond words. This item portrays a particular image, so if you have the Gaul to handle it then this certainly is for you.

Not as expected
Product claimed to be from Italy in the description but not the case. On arrival box stamped made in China and same stickers on cane. This was reflected in the quality of the casting of the Axe head.

Poor quality wast of money
Horrible. Poor quality materials and workmanship. Check the Toscano website reviews, the same problem consistently occurs. The head and spike foot fall off as soon as you lift it and the materials are cheap.

Got this for my brother's fiance for Christmas. She loves it. It fits her and has a nice weight to it.

Attractive Design
It was an attractive design in head pieces. The overall cane may not be the best design for a walking stick in the sense the ground tip comes to a point. This make it sink into soft surfaces and impacts transmit up the shaft. All in all it is a great decorative cane and will be used in future costume concepts.
