Works well & well priced
This pipe cutter works surprisingly well for the price. My main purpose for it right now is to cut acrylic tubing for a solar water feature and it does this very well. I did find some copper pipe to test it on this, as it seemed unfair to only judge it on plastics, and it also cut this accurately. The deburring tool is a useful addition, though this won't work as effectively on larger diameter pipes, though you can still run it around the inner rim, you just can't rotate it to deburr the entire pipe at once.Had it been an expensive cutter, I might've allowed this to influence my rating more, but at £12.99 for an efficient pipe cutter, I'm willing to overlook that as its only flaw.

Great for 15mm copper pipe
I have always used a multi pipe cutter for my jobs so I had to just have one tool for any pipe but for a recent bathroom refit I went for this as it was all 15mm and I'm pleased with the result. It's comfortable in the hand, works well to cut the pipe without leaving an unfinished end and has kept sharp for me to finish the job. I'm only a hobbyist so don't think I work this too hard - I can't really judge if this would work for a professional but I think it works well.

Pretty good for a budget end cutter.
I've had a few pipe cutters over the years, the two I used for several years when I worked in Air Conditioning were seriously high quality and lasted years without letting me down. One that very much looked the part and cost more than it really should have made a great job of putting a tight spiral score in pipes but never once no matter what I tried with it did it ever track properly all around a pipe, or cut one for that matter. Most of the others sat in between these two extremes although surprisingly one I got from a well know budget store proved to be excellent, it belied it's modest price tag at every opportunity, granted it wasn't great with aluminium pipe but feed it any variety of plastic or copper pipe and it worked brilliantly every time. Sadly the alloy casting was a bit cheap and it broke when I accidentally dropped a 10" adjustable spanner on it in the tool box. This one is so far very good indeed. The cutter tracks evenly all around the pipe, I've tried it with 1" copper fridge pipe, 20mm PVC, 10mm ABS and 6mm Aluminium and I've no complaints at all with the tracking or the cut quality. The de burring tool is hard with a nice sharp right angled (Zero rake) cutting edge that makes short work of burrs on copper and aluminium. The thread on the adjuster spins fairly freely so it doesn't take forever to adjust it but it's not loose or wobbly at all.All in all it's a very good cutter, if I were still out installing A/C I'd be perfectly happy to have it in my tool bag.

Adjustable 3-35mm tube cutter
This tube cutter is suited to cut either copper, aluminimum, plastic or PVC tubes. Ideal for anything bigger than 15mm copper which most of us into diy have a cutter for already. Ideal for those wardrobe hanging rails or even getting a nice neat circle around a bit of swa cable outer sheath. Its got a debur tool mounted in the side too.Just remember it near 5.5 inches long so you need room to swing it so maybe stick with the tube slice for 15mm copper. Its £12.99 at time of review so just make sure that you have enough oversize work for it to justify the cost. I am pleased to add mine to the toolkit.

A good tube cutter for the price
Sharp-Tec CT-105 Tube Cutter. For cutting tube/pipe of 3-35 mm diameter. Although advertised as suitable for cutting stainless steel, I will only be using it on copper and chrome plated tube/pipe.The cutting wheel is sharp and no play was found in the adjusting mechanism. The cutting wheel is also removable and is held in place with a circlip. No mention found of replacement wheels. The wheel outside diameter is 18mm, inner diameter 11mm and thickness 3mm. Hole diameter 5mm. Circlip replacement was also straightforward. The tube cutter comes with a retractable deburring tool which is adequate for the price, and does the job.Overall, a good tube cutter which I will continue to use. I will continue looking for spare cutting wheels.

Works great on copper
I only had spare 15mm copper pipe available to test this on and it cuts nicely. Also has a deburring tool on it to clean up the cut. Nice tool to replace my old pipe cutter which could only cut 15mm as I can now cut 22mm copper pipes with the same tool.Would be nice if it came with a replacement cutting wheel or even if they were sold separately but I was unable to find replacements from a brief search.

The pipe cutter gas a good cutting action. The small deburring tool loses the pipe cutter 2 stars.
Sharp-tec Adjustable Pipe Cutter for 3-35mm Tubes, Pipe Slice for Cutting Copper PVC Plastic Aluinum Pipes CT-105Nice looking pipe cutting tool, nice smooth action. Tested the tool, cutting 8mm 15mm & 22mmCopper pipe. The pipe cutter cut the 3 pipes with no problems. Then the big flaw in the pipe cutterwas revealed. The deburring tool is far to small, it was ok for the 8mm dia pipe, but it was to smallfor the 15mm dia pipe & obviously anything bigger, all of the cutters leave a burr inside the pipewhen cut & are fitted with a deburring tool. The burr should be removed. This tool requires another tool to deburr the cut pipe. Not many people would be happy with thisArrangement so I am afraid it is back to the drawing board,I have included a photograph of my old pipe cutter to enable you to compare the size of the deburring tools. The pipe cutter gas a good cutting action but the small deburring tool loses the pipe cutter 2 stars.

Solid, heavy duty spare blade, secure blade
This is a heavy band solid feeling cutter, and the fitted blade was secure and not wobbly like many budget pipe cutters. It comes in card and plastic retail style packaging. It also comes with one spare bl;ade in a bag - its a shame that doesnt attach to the cutter so its not lost over time. But for £12 (June 24) the price is just about ok for a budget pipe cutter, though not great value. still the tool is good enough quality for DIY use for sure.
