Belgian Boys Choco Liege Wafel - 10 Count

One night, my kids had a sleepover and a few other kids were here hanging out, doing what kids do when they have a free day off from school the next day. We have a lot of kids come to play, visit, sleepover, and eat! I always make sure to have plenty of kid-friendly and healthy options available. (and the good, sugary stuff!) So, I was getting ready for bed and I went to put something into my secret snack drawer and my Belgian Boys Choco Liege Wafel was still right on top where I left it. It's very rare I come across these scrumptious treats so I am always sure to save them for a special day and always keep them well hidden.I heard a couple of kids come downstairs a few times and didn't think anything of it. They're free to grab drinks or whatever they need to do so, I didn't think that 1 of these kids would end up making me cry the next day. Now, I am all for sharing, donating, we like to help others in our community when they're in need of food, toiletries, holiday items, whatever we can do and whatever they need. So, I don't mean to sound like a big, scary person who refuses to allow kids to eat snacks. (We have been told we have more snacks than ever seen before more than once!) But, there are just certain things that are special favorites and this chocolate coated/covered Belgian waffle is 1 of those super important things.I sat down to start figuring out bills, prepare for taxes, and I thought, "Hmm, now is a good time to eat my favorite snack!" I opened my hidden drawer and it was gone! I searched everywhere, tearing cabinets apart and couldn't find it anywhere. I wasn't sure why anyone would take it because everybody in this house knows these are my special treats when I only have one. I'll make this short... it ends up that somebody ate it overnight while I slept. I don't know why because the snack cabinet for the kids is filled to the brim with tasty goodness. But, they devoured my favorite sugary snack and I was craving it so badly. I cried over the fact that someone actually took this from me. I can't find them in stores. We live in a very rural area so, they are hard to come by. I figured I would search on Amazon to see if they were available since they weren't available on the Belgian Boys website and THEY ARE AVAILABLE! (and at a great price too!) So, I ordered 2 cases and have been sharing with visitors.They always taste fresh, have high-quality chocolate on them, will possibly be the most satisfying thing you have ever eaten, have just the right amount of chocolate and sugar and the packaging is so cool!

SO Yummy. I actually would prefer just plain ones with the pearl sugar, but these are soooo good. Heck yes I'd buy again. :-) Great product, very reasonable price. Many other brands of Liege Waffles are VERY expensive and hard to find also. Or in such HUGE quantities for re-sale you couldn't use them before they expired. Fabulous stuff. Will definitely shop with them again.

This is an amazing dessert for my peanut-allergy son! We all love them! I pop it in the microwave for 15sec (longer than recommended) and eat it with a fork. It reminds me of a thick funnel cake, but way better!

While on a business trip to Brussels, I bought a package of chocolate waffles (among other amazing chocolates) in one of the many specialty stores there. When I returned home, they were my family's favorites. I've tried to find a match here in the states and, so far, these come closest. Not quite the same texture, but still very good. They'll do the job until my next trip to Belgium.

These were delicious! They were better than I expected them to be and a hit at my company event! The chocolate melts into the waffle when heated. Really good!
