After some research I found out that cross under are not the best. They don't release the pressure soon enough to give the horse rewarding actions.Side pull are better.I'm using the head set for a hackamore bridle now. Good padded head piece. True to size. Nothing wrong with the product quality/price ratio. Just the cross under style not fiting well for a good bitless experience.

For the price it's not bad quality leather and my horse seems to like being ridden in it. As I won't be using it on a regular basis I wasn't prepared to pay the outlandish price for the named make of bitless bridle - this does the same job perfectly well.
