Crisp no more!
I live in Las Vegas and the heat is BAD. I feel like I'm in an oven and being baked directly. My first year here I kept saying I should get a parasol of some sort but kept putting it off. Having no vehicle, I use the bus and the constant walking in the heat can be torture, especially when I have to stand directly in the sun since all the remaining shade had been taken by others. I finally gave in and looked for parasols for my boyfriend and I and I really liked the design and reviews of this brand. It came fast and I was pleased to be given a free sunscreen lip balm with my purchase. The wooden accents are pleasing to the eye and I love the inside. I wish it was a little bigger, so it covers my whole body, but no big deal. Easier to pass people on the sidewalk. I use this every day and while I still get hot underneath it, I don't feel like I'm crisping up directly. I see others sweating and grimacing in the heat, miserable and I smile knowing I am protected and cooler than them :D

Made in China
The tips of the frame are the most fragile and it broke. The loop string at the end of the umbrella handle came loose. I don’t even know why I bother to think that throwing away money on cheap MADE IN CHINA products is ok. In the case of this green umbrella, it’s probably because the online description did not specify that it is MADE IN CHINA. I would not purchase again.

Worth every penny
Beautifully made, and noticeably better UV protection than my polyethylene rain-sunbrella. Wish handle string were sturdier-for city people who don’t drive & have to carry it around

sturdy and beutifully crafted
I really love my umbrella. It feels strong and the colors in & out look classically beautiful. I didn't feel the strong sun rays and I live in Southern Cali.
