This chopping board is a really poor finish.It's literally been cut to a rough shape and had an orbital sander on the top which has left all the swirly sanding marks you get when sanding too deep.Not only that, but they edges haven't been finished either and they are all chipped.I've never seen a chopping board so badly finished before and it's a shame because with just a little bit of extra effort, it would have been really nice.It's not particularly heavy and doesn't seem to have been oiled so it's bare.I will have to get my own sander out now and buff it up and smooth the edges over so I can at least use it as a tapas board.

This is an absolute unit, way thicker than the pictures make it look. It's a lovely piece of wood, very rustic but great for chopping and serving food. At £9.99, I feel this is a bargain as with good care, it will last forever. It's large enough to do a nice snack 'platter' for two or serve a bunch of cheese for more. But not so large it overwhelms the kitchen. I'm very happy with this, much better than I expected.
