Beautiful light that was easy to put together. More brass than gold but still pretty. Some people say how easy installation was. We changed many a ceiling light so I thought it would be a piece of cake. However, the bolts used on bracket that secures it to the ceiling were in the exact same place the bolts needed to be to secure the light. I had to go to Home Depot and get a offset swivel crossbar. The connection wasn’t the tightest but it did stay up!

I really like this light and its design. It looks great on our dining room ceiling! However, the first one I got had an issue. I hooked it up, installed light bulbs, and then flipped the switch. Poof! Crack! Smoke! Yep, one of the light sockets seems to have been cross wired or had the wires exposed and they touched and it shorted. Fortunately, I was able to get a replacement easily, but the replacement had a little scuff on the ball. It's hardly noticeable up on the ceiling, but it is a blemish that wouldn't just buff out. Thus 4 stars instead of 5.

The light arrived on time and packed well. My installation was in a spot that has a tall ceiling, so I purchased a lighting chain from my local home depot. If course this made the installation a little more difficult. However, unless you are very handy I would suggest you hire a professional to install this.Quality was impressive and the style was exactly what we were looking for. The only suggestion I have is that they should include at a small extra price an option to be able to hang the lamp at a different height .

I absolutely love this light! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I think it could have been packaged a little bit better. There are some scratches where the arms hit the base but they are not that noticeable. Also, I saw some complaints about it being hard to install in the reviews but my boyfriend had no problem putting it up. He put it up within 10 minutes. I am very happy with this purchase despite the packaging!

3.5...The instructions were highly lacking. Installation was hellish. Didn’t come with attached ground wire. The diagrams were misleading. Took my sister and I two hours to install, and this isn’t the first time we put ip a light...Just glad it looks good....

This light was installed over my dining table to replace a lighted fan. It provides just enough light and looks great.

Overall this was a great purchase. The sad part is there were no adequate directions. I was ableto install the light without assistance. (Rested the bars on my shoulder). I think I connected it successfully. It was very light. Nice quality.

Install was MUCH easier than expected. Size is large and fills the room with light. Purchased lights fromamazon as well, so far so good. Just what I wanted. I purchased two - one over dining room table and one for the kitchen both throw out excellent light and compliment the room. Showstopper!
