Q: Does make your horse hotter?

If anything Daily Gold has helped settle my horse. He was showing signs of ulcers secondary to medication and as soon as I started him on Daily Gold he became more comfortable. My other horse will not crib as long as he is on it. If I run out and discontinue use the cribbing will immediately start back.

Absolutely it is safe to feed. As long as it hasn't been exposed to contaminants it should last for years. This deposit is millions of years old as we mine it and produce it.

Q: At 3 scoops a day, how long does the 25 pound bucket last?

I use 2 scoops a day of the powder for two horses and 1 scoop a day for a pony and a bag lasts about a month. Feed it half am/half pm
