This is a great sized stone to start with. Nice polish and shine to the finish of the stone. However there are fine scratches on face of stone. The color is amazing under the right lighting. Stone is mainly dark black in color but upon looking closeup you can see the flashing colors deep green and blue and red color play flashes. Definitely a good stone.

Absolutely loved this thing. It was pretty big than I thought it would be, it's hard to see but the colors are very pretty. I can see greens, blues and some orange in it with the right light on it. If you have light under it looks like a smokey quartz than opals but on top you can see lots of color. I believe it's good quality for the price.

I am not sure how to grade this or check if it's the material it says it is but it looks like the picture, pretty, and quite small. It would work good in rings, necklaces, or something like a pin.
