Elmdor DW Access Panel 14 x 24 Drywall Access

14x24” access door was perfect for my project, fit perfect between 16” on center studs, only negative was door did not align well with frame allowing a visible gap.Anyway, my original plan was to hide it behind some wall covering .

Nice solid metal access panel that fit nice and tight between the studs.

Had no problem with potential variation on dimensions as I did not make my hole until I had ordered & received the door. For there, pretty straight forward.

We had a little problem in the shipping and our first one was ruined when we got it. However, after I took pictures of it and emailed it to the company they had another one delivered to me within 48 hours and this one was beautiful. My son had it installed the next day with ease. Yeah it’s pricey, but it was made very well and well worth the cost.

Used for an attic access. Not sure why info is all over the place on dimensions, but attached are pics of measurements. Interior frame is 14 3/8” x 24 5/16” exterior frame is 15 5/8” x 25 5/8”. This fit fine between 16” OC studs. Hope these pics clear up all the confusion.

Nice cover. The locks were a little hard to turn. Paint chips a little when using screw driver to turn.

Ok, sure, it's just an access door. However, it works perfectly, was packaged well and most importantly, functions exactly as intended. No extra frills, no drama, just a hatch in my ceiling. The one I selected has cam locks, which work fine. Looking at the package, it appears that I could have had other types of latches/locks on it. Would have been nice to know that before I ordered, so I could have got one that can be secured, but it should ok for my application.

Check the features...check your dimensions. These access panels are top-quality....fit like-a-glove....
