Squirrels took about 70% of my fruit before I got frustrated and angry. I researched and bought this. Since i put this on, I have not seen a single squirrel around my tree and not a single half eaten pomegranate on the floor. Would recommend (and actually buy more for other trees in their season).

It works great but it took a while to figure out the setting. Must redo markers on it so it can be done easily

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to set up and works great. The Solar charging is nice and lasts through the night. I only have to charged it once when I received it.

It just work for a couple days and it stopped. I tried to charge axis I think it needs for battery but it still doesn’t work. 1 star. .

It's a little hard to know if an item like this is working or not. It's not like I had HUGE numbers of animals in my yard before, where I could say that the day I started using this, the number of animals was significantly decreased. What I can say is that even with the item in use, it DID NOT cut down the number of animals to zero. Could it have reduced the number? Perhaps.

Our neighbor put in a large garden over the summer and with a garden-there can come some veggies (if you plant some ;) or flowers- but there also seem to be more pests in his yard, he told us, after the installation of his garden. He told my husband and I his problems were mostly with gophers and squirrels. So when I saw I had the chance to try out this item for review, I thought- why not see if it works for our neighbor (as he is a great friend to my husband and I, and we do almost everything together. Plus, he promised us some veggies from the garden, if the gophers and squirrels didn't ruin them all ;).So after this item arrived and my husband showed it to our neighbor (who thanked us profusely)- he put this item in and after using it for a few weeks, we asked him if he had seen less pests. He told us that the item definitely worked, he not only saw less pests- like the squirrels and gophers- he didn't see many at all. Even cats seem to stay away from the space in the yard where he has the device staked. Plus, the device really takes care of itself- you just charge it up the first time, put it in your yard and from there, the sun and the device internals take over and you let it do its thing- which is making sure you don't get any pests in your yard or garden. My neighbor swears by this device, that it has definitely helped to keep these unwanted pests out.Having five modes to set the device, our neighbor chose the third mode (he tells us) so as not to disturb neighbors or anyone in his yard (like his children or the dogs, which the device did not). The device can and will make animal sounds and other noises, shoot out flames (well, have a projection that looks like flames, not really shoot out flames ;)- this device definitely has other modes and ways of scaring pests away- if the third mode isn't working on what is in your yard. When I think about it, there are even less deer in our yard since our neighbor's device went in, and they have moved to an entirely new part of our street. It's odd too, that in an urban neighborhood like mine we can still have animals like this- one morning I looked out my windows and the rack the deer had on its head as it slowly strolled by- I just shook my head and thought, “your at home and not in Alaska or somewhere like that”- because that was how the deer made me feel.Definitely an item that my neighbor swears by the device and if my husband ever puts it in the garden that I want one day- this is the device I will turn to when it comes to unwanted pests (if I happen to have issues).

This repeller is versatile and offers five modes to deal with different types of animals. Ultrasound is adjustable and can be set to the frequency that best suits your situation. The motion sensor is very sensitive and activates the device once an animal enters its range. The addition of motor vibration and flame light is excellent as it adds visual and tactile deterrent. Installation is simple. The unit is lightweight and comes with adjustable stakes, making it easy to install in different areas of your yard.

The solar panel does not charge the sensor from the Sun and I have to charge it every 2 days using the charger.
