replacement battery for Dewalt (Battery, 8.0Ah)

I have quite a few Dewalt 18v tools and even more Dewalt batteries. But a couple more never hurts (even though do virtually no site work anymore). I have previously purchased one “Dewalt copy battery” (although another brand than these last two) as I really like Dewalt tools but think the batteries are a bit pricey. That one is still going strong so that encouraged me to try these two. Well two 8Ahr for the price of one 5Ahr original seemed to justify the risk. They charge and work just fine so far. I do wonder if they are a genuine 8 Ahr as they seem to charge quite quickly, but hey……at that price I am happy.

I have a few genuine batteries but at the end of the day everything is made in China so as long as you select a well reviewed brand then you will be fine and that is the case here. I charge these in my DeWalt charger with no issues and I use this one in my Dewalt DCF900N heavy duty impact gun and it performs as good as a genuine. The additional charger that comes with it is an added bonus.

I bought these to use with a dewalt leaf blower. The 2ah Dewalt batteries I have were lasting around 5 mins. I was hoping these would last at least 10 minutes considering they are supposedly 8ah. From full to empty I am barely getting 8 mins from each. I wouldn't recommend these. I am sending them back for a refund,

had an issue with a battery contacted seller they resolved the issue thank you very much battery’s operate as should

In short, these work very well but I’m just not sure about the cost.The batteries are good quality and look good enough. The performance is exactly what you’d expect and no different to the original battery. That a huge plus. I can’t tell the battery quality and how many cycles you’d get but first impressions are very good.The charger works fine for them but has an oddly much more cheap feel to it. It’s robust enough though and does the job just fine.I doo feel that the overall cost is slightly too high. But if you just want a set and it’s easier to buy it this way then it’s still a good set. If you get the parts separately you can get the same for cheaper though.Overall they work great and it’s a complete set. I’m happy with it.

After using 4.0Ah batts for years I got these, they take a little longer to charge but the runtime is great, I used to go through 3 batts a day, but 1 of these did the same work and still has life left, and on the impact gun they seem to give more of a kick, shall have to see if they really do increase the torque there.

This set of 2 x Li-Ion Replacement Battery for Dewalt 18 V 8.0 Ah / 8000 mAh 20 V Battery was disapoinment. Even it says that is should be 8.0 Ah these batteries doesn't last evens the same time as normal Dewalt 5 Ah.
