I ordered an XXL, which is a first for me, but given that many items made in China run a bit small I took a chance. Very pleased with how the pants fit (I don't like my hiking pants to be binding). I typically take between a 14-16 depending on manufacturer. I'm 5'6 1/2 and the pants, although a little long will be fine with hiking boots and also have an adjustable cuff which can be tightened. My only concern is that they did arrive in a nice little plastic carry sack, but whether it is the sack or the pants there was an overwhelming chemical smell. Before wearing I will wash with detergent and baking soda ((possibly a few times) as it is a smell that I can't identify. Not entirely awful, but not something I want on my skin. Ever. The pockets are nice in the sense that they all have zippers. Not sure if I'd use the ones close to the knees, but someone might have a use for them. Hoping the zippers are more robust than what a prior reviewer experienced. Overall, pleased so far with the purchase. If they work out I would order another pair in another color for variety. Would also consider using these for kayaking to keep the sun off my legs. The elastic waistband is a great feature and certainly more comfortable than wearing hiking pants with a belt, especially when it gets hot.

I ordered these pants primarily for hiking and am very happy with them for that purpose as well as biking! The fit is exactly as expected. The pants are so much more comfortable than I expected with movement and breathability and keeping moisture (sweat) away. I also liked having all the pockets and the ability to tighten at the ankles. The tie/elastic waste was super comfy too. I love these pants and will most likely buy other colors. Great value for the money!

Light and comfortable. Do get wrinkly and have to iron after wash. Too long for my legs (I’m 5’3), so I had to hem it. Overall, an okay purchase for the price and look.

I burn within minutes as I'm so pale. I went on vacation to Orlando when it was 105°F. I wore this and a long sleeve zip up mock turtleneck top also bought on Amazon. You couldn't see any of my sweat as the quick dry took it right away I didn't burn thru the clothes and I was as comfy as one can be in 105°F. My weight has been fluctuating so they were a bit snug but that's my fault as I should have sized up. I believe them to be true to size. Also, a good length as I didn't step on the hem. I'm 5'5". I love the zip pockets too. Also they dried super quic after getting soaked on water rides. After 5m I was walking around more comfortable than my friends who were in shorts and sticky from their sunscreen.

I had high hopes but these just don’t fit right on my hippy shape plus the the zippers are just too awkward & visible for my taste. Fabric felt ok weight wise but once again way too long ( no petite size)for this 5’1” old lady. Easy to return.

Miraculously, these pants are designed to fit short or tall, slender or generous waistlines. And make both individuals look double sharp! The waistband is wide, sturdy, and well puckered to embrace the purchasers waistline, whatever size. The pants are cut long but with a good-looking flat hemline but encasing an elastic, tiny barrel adjuster to gather around the ankle for a stylish shorter length. Talk people look slender when their pant legs flow to a long length and short people likewise look their best when their pants adjust to their proper length. I can also describe the taupey-mapley color as being a rich, appealing neutral shade that will set off any accompanying wardrobe pieces chosen to wear with it. I just ordered snother pair in the grey offering. Make me look so good, it’s almost unbelievable.

Pleasantly surprised by these hiking pants! Got them on sale, and I think it’s a good value for the price. I wouldn’t have gotten it if it was more. It’s a great dupe for similar rei or Patagonia hiking pants but for a lot cheaper. It’s breathable and perfect for summer. I love the pockets and the elastic waistband with tie. As well as the tie in the cuffs. Overall very happy about this purchase.
