It was a little awkward to use at first

I ordered this bc it said it fit my car. Three people tried to get it into position and none of us got close.

Thought we would try this umbrella style shade. Like that it folds up like an umbrella and takes up less space than the shield type. Unfortunately one of the ribs has already pop thru and it is kind of a pain to put up and take down. On the plus side it does make a difference in the truck.

First Impressions:The units act like other shades. It has a very reflective, shiny side. The only issue is, and I will get used to it, is the way it is installed. It opens on a mechanism like that of an umbrella. I do kind of have to fight it to get it opened. It doesn't spring open like a regular umbrella. Maybe that's for the good, as I imagine it opening with force in a cramped car. Once it is mostly open, you can push up on the center ring, which fully opens and locks. Then, there is the positioning of the shade. While it is mostly like other shades, you do have to contend with the handle sticking out

I have had many sunshades for my vehicles over the years. This is a nice newer design. The old ones, you practically had to have studied oragami to get it to fold back in place to store. This design is so much better. Just like using an umbrella. So simple and effective. Keeps my cooler by about 10-20 degrees while also helping protect my dash. Highly recommend!
