Slow ship, but great product
I was disappointed that the shipping was 7 days and almost canceled the order. I am sooo glad I didn't. It shipped in 5 days and the gloves/mitten combo is perfect. The gloved fit tight and work great with my touch screen. The mitten portion is pretty wind resistant and my fingers stayed warm in a 32F degree car and in the 18 degree walk to work. The pocket for a glove warmer makes these feel expensive but I found them to be very reasonably priced.Very glad I purchased these glove/mittens and hope they last for years to come.

Unlike U2, I think I've finally found what I was looking for.
I'm a photographer who lives and works in Northern Minnesota. During our long winters, I need to keep my fingers warm but also need to be able to handle the camera controls. For several years, I had a pair of flip top mittens which met my needs. They were fingerless however which also meant I had to use glove liners. A couple of years ago, I wore these mittens out and my quest for replacements began. I actually bought 2 pair of mitts... the 1st was also fingerless. It also had a flip-top thumb. I never was able to keep the flip top on either the fingers or the thumb closed which totally defeated the purpose. The 2nd one had fingers and the thumb had no flip top, but I again found that the flip top wouldn't stay closed. Even worse, it was difficult to close them in the first place... it was especially difficult to close the 2nd one after the 1st was closed. So, the search continued. I found several similar mittens but most were fingerless (which I'd decided I didn't want) and the few that weren't had pretty bad reviews, especially with regard to them staying closed or, they had the thumb flip top. Then, I came across the SnowStoppers E-mitt. While many of the early reviews complained about a flip top thumb, I noted that, this "feature" had been removed. I didn't see any reviews saying there were any problems with the main flip top. So, I took the plunge, half expecting to be disappointed once again. My mitts arrived yesterday. Of course, in typical fashion, we had a cold spell last week -- below zero most of the week... this week though, the temperatures are above freezing for most of the week. So, I haven't yet been able to put them to a full test but, initial impression is that these will be much better than anticipated. The top is made in such a way that it stays closed when desired but is also easy to open. Even better, it's possible to expose one finger while keeping the rest enclosed -- very useful when it comes to photography. It's also easy to close again when desired. The mitts also feel like they'll be quite warm but, again, I haven't been able to put them to the test. For really cold days, I anticipate using a pair of glove liners for extra warmth... but, that's to be expected.I know there are some complaints about touchscreens not working with these gloves. Personally, I'd rather not have this feature since the material used to make this possible does not insulate as well as the rest of the material, leading to cold finger tips (for me, anyway). But, these days, it seems to be impossible to find gloves without this feature. In any case, I tried using the mitts with my phone -- LG K40 and camera -- Nikon Z50. The gloves do work well with my phone's touch screen. They have limited functionality with my camera. Again, not an issue for me.Other notes: I like the velcro wrist closures as well as the long cuff to keep the cold from seeping in between the mitt and coat. My one concern is whether the flap, which allows your fingers to come out of the mittens, is adequate to keep the cold, and especially snow, from seeping into that part of the glove. I'll only know the answer to that question after we get more cold weather.All-in-all, at least for the moment, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this product to others.

Get a Smaller Size
I purchased these gloves twice, because the medium size were HUGE. My son, who has giant hands, is now using those. The small size fit me perfectly. I do wish that the finger flap was a little different because it will not close completely after some time. The gloves still work great and keep my hands super warm. These will be my go-to until I find the original gloves I had for many years until someone stole them at a restaurant. These had zippers at the flap, so I didn't have to be concerned about opening from wear. Another thing I love about these gloves are the zip compartments on the back. I sometimes use the gloves as a wallet when I do not want to carry a purse.

It's great!
They're warm, good quality, and allow you to handle things very easily without removing your entire glove. I really like them!

very nice gloves
After reading all the reviews in my search to find gloves for my daughter, who is a photographer that also happens to have Raynaud's, I decided to try these gloves. She is very picky and doesn't really like to wear clunky thick gloves. But she seems very pleased with these gloves and doesn't feel uncomfortable wearing them while photographing. So when I got her feedback on the gloves I decided to get myself a pair as well.I have yet to need them but it's nice to know they are there if and when I do.
