LThe lid grinds shards of metal as you unscrew it making it very difficult to unscrew. The biggest issue is drinking out of it. You can't just hold it with one hand while drinking. If you do, it collapses and folds in half making a mess. It does look really cool though.UPDATE: Increasing the review from 1 to 3 stars because of the excellent customer service I received.

Great concept, but lots of flaws. I had such high hopes for this water bottle.Pros:Flexible so it molds well to fit in a crowded bagSturdy handle constructionCons:-Top heavy so it falls over easily-Slightly difficult to fill with water if you are not filling it all the way (I mostly keep the bottle filled at it's smallest size). It's very squishy in the hand.-The lid is awkward to screw on and on noisy (this is important to me because I often want to use it while I'm sitting in the quiet car of a train during my commute)-No insulation so be prepared for sweating if you put ice cold water in it-Difficult to clean-Smells a little and not due to lack of proper cleaning-The rubber on the very top around the opening can become separated from the metal and cause leakage (I believe this is what happened to some other reviewers that said it leaked) I was able to fix it, but should I have to?Anyway, I wouldn't recommend the bottle for anything other than maybe working out or hiking. Don't put it near any electronics or anything of importance just to be on the safe side.

I regret buying this product which was more gimicky than functional. The top was useless and the bottle would not stand up so I had to hold it all the time to keep it from falling over and water from leaking out. I threw it away already.UPDATE: I was contacted by the company and given a full refund even though I no longer have the bottle. I still think the product itself has issues which need to be corrected but I appreciate this gesture.

I like this bottle. The like that the lid has a handle and the wood makes it look really nice. Although it is not easy to open. I read a few other reviews that mentioned that it is not a quick open lid and that is true.For me it was a toss up between this one and the que one which is similar. I bought both and I believe this one is a much better product. Que leaked everywhere because it didn't have the rubber lip that this one has to prevent such leakage. Que also was not stable when full it did not stand up properly and was prone to falling down,which is a hazard near electronics because of the leakage. This product is stable full or empty it stands up and doesn't threaten to fall down. I much prefer this product. I returned to que needless to say.The only real problem I have with it other than the lid being difficult to open is the rubber smell. It came with instructions to get rid of it which I followed and i don't think it helped however the smell did end up going away after a few uses so it's fine.Most importantly the squishiness is a lot of fun and it makes drinking water more entertaining.UDPATED REVIEW: 1 month in and it broke. The glue holding the lid started leaking into the water and I threw away. I liked this water bottle but it did not last long as the quality isn't great. Also the bottle was giving my water a weird taste, and i didn't know if it was just the silicone taste or the silicone leaching into the water but I could never drink water out of it that had been in there for over an 1 hour or so. I take back my recommendation of this product.

So, initially this bottle is really cool because it collapses. But let me tell you, it is VERY poorly made. 1) it leaks because the ring around the bottle is not even attached to the bottle. It makes a mess everywhere. The STRAW let me tell you, this straw literally falls out at the thought of ice being put in there because it isnt attached to the head nozzle, which is fine, but maybe make it screw on instead of just slip on. i try using this bottle to help recovery from a tonsillectomy and every time i need to sip water, i end up having to put the damn straw back on. Ridiculous. Have some pride in your work, okay guys?Lets not mention the fact that no matter what you do, you will not get the smell of silicon out of it, and if you leave water in there for long enough (maybe a day) it will start to smell and taste bad. And i know its not my water because its filtered water that tastes PERFECT in a glass. Please, fix you product guys.

Metal part inside bottle (the part you screw top into) come out on first day of use. I do NOT recommend this bottle. I wanted to like it.

It has a slight smell and it's not very stable since it's a rubber type of material. Other than that, no leaking once the cap is twist tight, and it expands to a decent size for on-the-go. It is really cute once it's collapsed, and the ring handle is great for clip on the bag.

This is a very cool and convenient waterbottle. I travel a lot so I need a water bottle that is compact and lightweight when I need it to be but can also expand and be functional. I love this waterbottle. I highly recommend it.
