adj(ECO UV BAR Plus IR)

I really only just got the thing and took it out of the box for an initial test, so this is a bit of a preliminary review, but it seems really well constructed and plenty bright. In a darkened bedroom it threw enough visible light to safely walk around, but the glow effect is far stronger, as it should be for a black light. I had a small pack of fluorescent body paint samples in plastic bottles and they just lit up like there was a 60 watt bulb in the middle of each bottle. It has another nice feature I never realized from the pictures - it has a glass lens over the LEDs. In the pictures it looked to me like it was just the bare LEDs in a parabolic fixture, so I worried a bit about durability and vulnerability to dust etc. It's built solidly though. I'll probably get a second one, which will be overkill for hotel parties, but that way I won't have to worry about shadows or dark spots.There's probably no one light that will fit all needs, but this one seems like a good go-to solution for many situations.

Update!: huge suprise but the second remote that amazon sent me didn't work either. In the mean time I've been emailing the company ADJ's customer service department and have heard nothing back at all. I think I've sent 4 emails over the course of a week and nothing. So I guess I'm going to return it. LameThis black light bar is superior to any I have come across in the past. Unfortunately, the remote control didn't work when I got it. Tried different batteries and nothing. There was also a dongle looking thing in the box that plugs into a headphone jack. There was no mention of this piece in the instructions or on the box. I had to do a little research to discover that this is a receiver that you plug into your phone to turn it into a remote. I thought "Perfect!" and downloaded the app. Didn't work. I contacted support who sent me a new remote that should be here tomorrow. I will update if I can get this thing to work. Problem is that since I tried the perfectly good remote, and two different phones with the app installed, I'm suspecting that no remote will work.This is just another example of how poor things have become at Amazon. They used to sell trusted quality products, but you cannot trust that anymore. In fact my last 10 orders have come broken, gotten lost in the mail, or been cheaply made overpriced garbage once in my hands. I just want to order something and have it show up with no issue, but that appears to be impossible now.

I used these for a blackout party at a night club. Good 180 degree range of coverage how ever the strength isn't what I was expecting hence the 4 star review, luckily we had a few adj bar 20's to fill on the crowd.Will work perfectly for small to medium sized rooms. Like I said 180 degree coverage and if positioned properly will throw the light about 20-25 feet.Had them on for 12 hours and they don't run very hot which is nice. Bought the ADJ clips with this, would highly recommend it because they have sizers to fit any type of scaffolding you might be using.

First of all let me say that I read all of the reviews before I bought this product, and many people said that it was insanely bright. Well, they weren't lying. Lets just say I was sitting in front of it when I turned it on and it about blinded me lol. It makes everything neon/white glow very brilliantly. Works fantastic with UV reactive body paint as well! This light is perfect for covering a reasonably large area with ease, and will go great with my Dj set. Also, the build quality is great! It looks a little flimsy in the photos but the frame is a very nice aluminum frame, very heavy and sturdy, and the cover for the LEDs seems very solid as well.

I don't often review products but rely on reviews from others (I know this is terrible)... but.. I was so impressed with this light that I had to leave a review for others. If you are looking for a blacklight, forget the bulbs and give this a try. The light is very solid, bright and the remote works great. I didn't think I needed a strobe effect, but it also is very useful. great job ADJ!

Light is bright and works but remote doesn't. Tried different battery and still nothing. Not sure if light arrives as bright as it can go and no way to adjust and don't see a way to just buy another remote.

Im a DJ, these are very bright for small to medium venues. Strobe remote control works effectively. My biggest concern at this point is longevity as Im not too impressed with electronics lasting now days....LED's should help with that, we'll see?

These work pretty darn well and have an impressive amount of reach given the small profile. The cord is kind of short so make sure the unit will be near an outlet.

I've bought four of these units, I've had 2 over 2 years and they work extremely well. 2 will cover a venue of 60 x 30 feet

Really adds something to my dancefloor, drunk people always buzzing with their teeth's new color :) Don't add too much lighting sources though, it will minimize its effect

When we first got the product it worked well. We used it for an event six weeks later and only half the lights turned on. Now it's too late to return. Disappointed.
