I've been looking for a head torch to improve visibility when working on my bike. I chose this because the light can be tilted downwards, which was not possible on my current LED Lenser head torch. This also has the added benefit of two red LED's which is great for the times I'm out photographing the stars or stargazing through my telescope at night. The main white LED's are reasonably bright with the LED's thoughtfully positioned to provide a decent spread of light. There's 3 brightness setting to choose from with lowest and middle setting perfect for general home/workshop use, and the highest setting bright enough for walking the dog around dark lanes. Although, I do tend to use my more powerful LED lenser head torch for this as I like to see further into the distance.The head torch itself seems good quality, lightweight, comfortable and secure enough for jogging or running. The head strap is adjustable and fits both large and small heads - My 5 year old nephew loves to wear this.This comes with 3 batteries which last quite a while. I try to keep it on power save mode as much as possible and manage to get between 10-15 hours.Highly recommended!

Got this for my dad as they have no lights fitted on the house outside and he needs his hands free when trying to finish his DIY projects, this item is perfect! He's had a different one for many years but the straps on it are now very nearly torn and it wasn't bright enough in pitch black conditions. He's 72 years old and finds this headlamp very good fitting but also nice'n bright. He also loves the adjustable brightness (3 levels of white plus a red light option) and the ease of use (one button only so he can't get it wrong, easy to press when adjusting brightness whilst wearing it). I've used it too myself a few times when helping him. I have straight, smooth hair and the straps were riding up a little on my hair no matter how much I was adjusting the length of the strap. Not a major issue as it still did a very good job but I had to be careful not to shake my head. When worn with a hat underneath it's staying power was a lot better so I think it's designed to be worn like that or at least with earwarmers when working out in the dark. Or maybe for shaved or very short hair. Five stars all the way for this item, excellent value for money!

Good value product.I have used it outside to find my way along a dark track and it was good. I have used it to wire a ceiling light fitting at night when I have had to switch the main fuse off for all my downstairs lights to be able to do that and it made life so much easier. The head unit being able to click into different positions is useful for work where you are looking up a lot (like the wiring of the ceiling fitting) or down or straight ahead (walking). It is perfectly comfortable to wear for short but for me, my head did get hot on the head band when using it out walking. I don't know what it would be like for going out running (possibly a bit heavy?) but more sedentary tasks are fine. I wouldn't choose to wear it for a long period of time on my head but it is great, and liberating, to do tasks without having to balance a torch or my phone in my mouth to see!On the "cons". It's generally not as bright as I expected (but that is probably just my expectation that was wrong not the product). I don't personally see a massive difference in the brightness levels as you click through from 1 - 3. Maybe I will find a use for this in time but at the moment it just serves to make it longer to turn on / off as you have to toggle through the four modes to turn off. It's not a high quality focused LED array like from a good torch (e.g. my Led Lenser) just a basic array of individual LEDs that come on and off (as you can see on the photo). But not of this distracts from the value of the product.But it does not pretend to be a high end product so I can happily recommend it to anyone at this price point.

Love this...I could have done with this when looking for the switch to turn back on my electricity at home, and on several other occasions. It's comfortable to use and very good quality with a powerful high intensity light. The headstrap is comfortable and adjustable...and I love the colour too.Just a couple of points though...1) I would have liked the red light to flash...so that you could turn the light around on your head when cycling, giving you an excellent rear light in the dark. 2) You have to use a coin or a screwdriver to unscrew the battery holder in order to change the batteries...that means the possibility of damaging the slot on the holder, I did find this irritating when examining the torch, also when I replaced the holder back in its compartment I didn't do it correctly and the light wouldn't turn on, and so had to take out the holder all over again. However it worked just fine after my fiddling.My point is this...just make the battery holder unscrew without having to use any implement of any kind. How many people carry around a coin or a screwdriver and what if you dropped the coin or screwdriver in the dark - how would you manage then?Anyway, only small gripes and when finished with, it fits nicely into its box. Good quality product that I'd recommend to anyone.

I bought this so that I could see better to do my cross-stitch, but as the light is on the forehead it shines above the area of the cross-stitch I am working on. Otherwise it works just fine

Io la uso per andare a pesca ed è ottima, in confronto a quella che avevo prima non c'è paragone è molto più luminosa. In più ci sono i bracciali con materiale catarifrangente e con led luminosi che aiutano la visibilità di chi li indossa. È arrivata nei tempi previsti.
