I bought the book Flatbreads 20 years ago and have been searching for central Asian bread stamps ever since. Took 8+ weeks to receive and seller non-responsive through Amazon’s chat function but they arrived and are really well made and work great.

My daughter was thrilled with the Uzbekistan bread markers. I got them for her as a bithday gift. It was an unusual choice but I was influenced by by a few things. First off, it was really an original and unique gift. Next, they were handmade by the very people who used them themselves. They came with a description of the tools and native bread recipes. In addition, they came in a bag that was sealed with twine and a wax seal. My daughter was impressed with the presentaion.I could not ask for better or more attentive service.

I ordered these to stamp flatbreads I make in the oven. They are beautiful and superbly made. I tested them out for the first time today and am even more glad I bought them. They are solid enough to outlast me and are future heirlooms for my kids. They also make flatbreads lie flat where they are used. I feel lucky to have them.
