Great for FESTIVALS and CAMPING!Recently purchased and took this handy blanket to a camping music festival and it proved to be incredibly useful and versatile. Light weight and easily folds or stuffs into its carrying pouch (not one of those "never will fit back in after the first time you take it out" situations). Great for folding out on the ground for a place to sit (comfortably big enough for 2-3 people) and is made from a waterproof material that seems fairly dirt-proof as well, this means you don't necessarily need to worry about finding a perfectly dry spot and don't need to worry about it picking up dirt and moisture when you pick it back up to stuff it back in its pouch.This blanket also did a great job of keeping me warm when the temperature dropped at night! Can be wrapped around the shoulders or waist and does a good job of keeping in your body heat (big enough for two people to share standing side-by-side). Also useful to throw in the bottom of an uninsulated hammock to keep your backside warm.. you know what I mean if you have one out on a cold night.Finally - really useful holding over your head to shield you from either rain (waterproof) or sun (if you forgot your sunscreen).Definitely a 5-star camping/festival companion. Ultra lightweight and stuffs down into a small size to fit well either inside a daypack or clipped onto the outside. I gave it a solid five days of heavy use and it still looks brand new.

This blanket is really great. I brought this along with me on my 4-month trip around Asia & Australia earlier this year. Because it folds up compactly, I was able to throw it in my little backpack/bag and take it with me everywhere I went. Was terrific being able to pull the blanket out of my bag whenever I spontaneously found a great spot to sit, relax, and people watch. It is waterproof, so I didn't worry about getting wet from any morning dew or getting dirty from the ground. (Note: Because it is waterproof, it's not very breathable material -- your back may get a bit sweaty if you fall asleep on it on a hot day -- at least that's what happened to my friend.) It's a pretty decent size for 1 person (can comfortably fit 2 people on it, but large enough for 3, maybe 4) -- worked really well when meeting up with new friends at a park, etc. What else... Love the little bag it comes in as well -- helped keep my other things clean and also kept the blanket compact. Quality of the material is also quite good. Doesn't feel cheap and has held up really well on my extended trip. It's also fairly easy to fold and pack up quickly in the case of sudden rainfall -- happened to me a couple of times during my trip.I highly recommend this product and will definitely be taking it along with me on my future travels.

Used it last night at a high school soccer game after it rained, the wet still leaked through. It is very thin. I am never getting it back in the case. It did help block the wind though.

This is better used as a ground cover and not expected to be a blanket. It is more like a weighted tarp. Was useful at the beach but was not what I bought it for and intended to use if for.

Thought it would be much better. Not impressed especially for the price. Not worth it. Just use a towel instead!

Full disclosure: I have only taken this to the beach once, so I do not know its durability. However, this worked great for that one beach trip- it repels water and it is easy to brush off sand. The corner pockets are great because you can anchor it without stakes. It took two tries, but I was able to get it back in the pouch. If I have one quibble, it is that the majority of the blanket is dark gray and gets hot in the sun, but it was fine under my beach umbrella.

I am a tour guide and often find myself wondering the streets not knowing where to sit and hang out while I wait for clients. I don't want to pay for a drink somewhere so with my blanket I can find a little spot anywhere and relax. I found it easy to pull out and put back in the little bag. Its not too heavy to attach to my Osprey.

Disappointed! Smaller, thinner, lighter than expected

Great product! Small & compact. Nice &Lightweight! I keep it in my diaper bag so it can be easily used for a quick picnic at the park. Pretty large size too and can fit 2 adults & a baby nicely! Perfect for travel too! Used for our Europe trip!
