About By Boe By boe started as a tiny studio and retail shop named Annika Inez in 2000. This little neighborhood shop is where designer Annika Inez created a vast range of jewelry, using a wide array of vintage materials sourced in various corners of NYC and the back rooms of jewelry factories up and down the East Coast. In 2004, by boe was started as a response to the increasing large demand for the specific pieces which were being sold in the store: a delicate, feminine yet modern 14kt gold filled collection. By 2006 by boe was being sold at stores around the US, Europe and Japan. By boe continues to produce locally in NYC, working mostly with individual artisans , some of whom have been with us since the beginning. By boe uses recycled and ethically sourced sterling silver and 14kt gold filled from US factories. Today the by boe studio is located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn and is part of a creative community called Industry City.
