Fits perfectly on standard 5 gallon gas csns.

Fit and looked like the originals. Had to get these as replacements because of a grandkid not watching what they were doing.

Installed on my gas can spouts they fit tight shouldn’t come off needed to keep gas clean and have no fumes

I got these since the original gas can cap(s) somehow got lost. The caps themselves do fit the gas can spout very nicely except, for one minor flaw, but it is easily fixable.The yellow caps that come with the original gas can have a small flat edged section carved off to allow the cap to be easily slid over the spout lip and then turned to secure the cap to avoid spillage and/or losing the cap during transit. Unfortunately, these do not have that small flat edge and so the cap is unable to snug down around the spout lip.To rectify this problem, you simply need to cut a small portion of the lip off so that they are then able to fit the cap on correctly. It's not a difficult job and you will be able to use these caps as intended. You could even flatten the lip on a piece of sandpaper to get the same result.The caps themselves are very well made and are of a good quality material, and to me are of the correct diameter and fit pretty good but they do need that small slice taken off to secure the cap onto the spout.They are definitely worth getting even after having to do a small modification and the price is pretty good too.

Just what I needed. These fit my gas cans that I use for the mower.

They work and great to have for garage gas cans.

The cap is the almost the same diameter of the spout. The overall length of the cap is about 1/4 inch short of the original. When forced onto the spout they do not go far enough for the latch to catch the edge of the cap.
