Standing Room Only

I've been listening to the old release 'Sinatra Live at the Sands' for many years - The Basie Orchestra is outstanding, Frank's voice stunning and his jokes have had me in stitches for many years. The new Sands show on here is almost as good. Not quite but maybe he was fresher for the first show! The other two shows on here are really great too. Highlights - too many to mention. I've seen shows by, and met most of my musical heroes - but sadly I missed Frank. Goddam it!

Outstanding collection by any standards. Disc one with Count Basie is just superb. Just listen to this version of I've Got You Under My Skin it will knock you for six.A must for any Sinatra fan grab a copy while you can.One word of warning some of Frank's quips may offend some

Fantastic set of "new" concerts I especially love the 2nd concert but all 3 are very good well worth buying. As a long time Sinatra fan it's so good to get something I haven't heard before. Great.

Long been a fan of the Vegas concert, but this re-mastering of a different night's performance was so good it was like listening to Sinatra in his pomp for the first time. Absolutely thrilling.

Sinatra and all his band leading friends swinging for the fences. Fans of Frank will probably have heard all these numbers but, it is nice to have them in one collection. If you like Sinatra's live performances, this is for you and it won't disappoint.

Thanks for yet another great set of live Sinatra .....however, could you PLEASE see if there are any concert tapes in the vault from the early 80s, when Vinnie Falcone was conducting. The set lists from these early 80s shows are filled with tantalizing tunes like "But Not For Me", "As Time Goes By", "In the Wee Small Hours", "It Had To Be You", "A Long Night", "These Foolish Things" and many more live rarities. I have a blurry video of Frank on the 1980 CP telethon singing "But Not For Me", and it is superb ! In fact, why not assemble a DVD of Frank's 70's and 80s telethon (and other TV) appearances. I know for a fact that Sinatra collectors would love that, since many of us have already shelled out big $ for mediocre bootlegs of this material.

Estaba deseando recibirlo, porque el segundo show en el Sands nos vuelve a traer momentos dorados de un Sinatra disfrutando el momento.Un recopilatorio como suele ser habitual, en formato plegado y de cartón, que contiene un libreto con texto y fotografías, y 3 discos con tres conciertos inéditos (Sands / Philadelphia / Dallas).Ahora puedo sumar a mi colección: Count Basie before Sinatra at the Sands / Sinatra at the sands show 1 / Sinatra at the Sands show 2.Sólo faltaría que aquel día se hubiera hecho alguna filmación del concierto en directo, porque sería una autentica joya.Gran acierto por editar este pack de Sinatra.
