This beats the claw clips that everyone is wearing and these have held my silky straight hair through a power yoga class. When they’re in you barely see them and if you take them out you can easily slide into your back pocket or throw in a purse. Sleek and cool.

I bought this under the impression that I could fit two fingers inside the U-shape, but I could only fit one. The metal does not grip the hair and it is bent easily with enough force. It is very cute and easy to use but I wouldn't recommend this specific pin.

I must not have read dimensions because they are shorter than expected - they work, but they are not going to hold a large volume of thick hair.

U pins can get negative reviews for not holding up hair, but this is just for people who don’t know how to properly use them. As long as you can hook a section of hair within another twist in your hair to secure, these are effective. Gold is a great polished accessory for either dressed up or casual looks

I had it in my head that these would be something I can pin my hair up in - I am either wrong or I don't have the technique down. They do SIT nicely in a braid or an up-do (bun). But to actually get my hair up and pinned with them - I can't seem to do it, they are not quite long enough (Mind you my hair is pretty long down my back)Otherwise a good quality accessory. Not flimsy.
