TrewaxProfessional Gold Label Heavy Duty Floor Stripper, Floor Cleaner, 32-Fluid Ounce

I have scrubbed my apartment floor with everything known to man and it’s still looked dirty all the time. Using this, even though the application was hard for me at 74—lots of scrubbing—it finally looks clean! I should’ve bought this years ago. I’ve included an ‘after picture’, and you won’t believe the ‘before picture’! What looks like filth is actually cruddy old wax that I couldn’t get off with any sort of soap, TSP, rubbing alcohol, fingernail, polish remover, nothing. This stuff took it off in three minutes. (I know my floor is ugly but it’s an apartment and there’s nothing I can do about that. Lol.)

I love it. I had a 30-year buildup of wax on my kitchen floor. I did equal parts of water and stripper. IPut that on the floor and let it set a few minutes. the old wax came off easily with no problems. I will recommend it to friends .

I started out with full strength ammonia and it took the wax off in sheets with a paint scrapper. I bought this to get out the film and spots left on my floor. This product didn't budge either. I would buy some good ammonia, not from the dollar tree, it didn't work. Use a paint scrapper and a good mask as it is pungent. It is the only thing that took the wax off. This product was less efficient than the Dollar Tree ammonia for quadruple the price. Fancy packaging does not make it work better. I bought all 3 products, to strip, wax, and clean. I used the stripper and the cleaner. I found both of them lacking.

Back in the day, we had to wax our floors to make them shiny. Then we'd strip the floors about once a month and reapply wax all over again. Then Mop n Glow hit the market and made it a whole lot worse because it advertised stripping and rewaxing all in the same application. Ewww. But we didn't always get every corner and crevice so the dirt would just build up in this super hard compilation of gunk and hard, old wax. This stripper got everything out. It took a little elbow grease but my mid-century modern house is now shining and glowing like it was meant to be.

I couldn’t be happier with Trewax! I have an older no wax floor in my bathroom that was filthy looking all the time with build up from other cleaners I had used. I’ve tried everything to remove the buildup. I was ready to tear out the floor and replace it. Then I thought I would try this after reading the reviews. It saved my floor! It’s absolutely incredible. I did half water half solution, I worked on my hands and knees with a scrubber sponge and fine steel wool. The floor has a texture to it that grabs all of the buildup. I let the solution sit for a few minutes then started wiping it and everything came off! I was truly amazed. This stuff does stink, I only did a small section at a time. But wow I recommend this I can’t believe how my floor looks now it’s just like new. I used the sealer step two after using this. It looks beautiful.
