From the moment this was in my hand I was super impressed. The weight feels good in my hand. I purchased for burning different incense using the charcoal discs on top of a fine sand. I almost deleted this from my wish list because I kept getting inferior bowls that didn't meet my standards for the purpose wanted, this one however is gorgeous, I'm so glad I read the reviews about how great it was because it really is. I will probably buy 2 more. It's thick, gorgeous, the design on it is beautiful, it's very durable stone. Very nice.

This is truly a lovely bowl. Upon unwrapping, I actually said aloud 'Oh wow'!It has substantial weight and is a good size for smudging, but it can also be used as a small dip bowl, or snacks, or really anything. Even used as a pet water bowl, but it is way too nice for that (no offense to furry ones). Very pleased and highly recommend this bowl.
