Blender for Shakes and Smoothies by Aimores

I really like this blender. I had received a Blendtec as a gift a couple of years ago which worked really well, but bit the dust (of course 2 weeks after the warranty expired...). I couldn't go without a blender for long as often as I use it, but also didn't have several hundred dollars at my disposal for a new blender, so was looking into slightly lesser known but still highly rated brands. I use blenders most often for smoothies including ice and frozen berries, and making a homemade egg pudding (sounds weird, but is delish and super healthy!). I'm essentially blending up hardboiled eggs among other sweeter ingredients to make a custard-like pudding, and leaving any bits of egg makes it eggy and disgusting, but if blended thoroughly, it's amazing and creamy even though it's dairy free. This blender works great at fully blending items, including chunks of ice, with ease and in a relatively short amount of time. It's also quieter than my BlendTec was, although has similar capacity motor.These are the only reasons I didn't rate it with 5 stars: 1.) This thing is a MONSTER! It's absolutely enormous and doesn't fit on standard shelves. The base is about as tall as the container. Why does it have to be so enormous? I'd rather the base were wider and shorter so wouldn't be so tall. I've never had a blender even close in height to this one, and I've owned a lot of blenders in my life. I'm also used to having my blender sit below my cupboards that house smoothie add-ins, but I can't open up the cupboards without knocking the blender over because it sits about 4" higher than the bottom of my upper cabinet doors. 2.) The container can be a little annoying to line up with the base. There are essentially 4 large plastic prongs you have to line up and even when lined up, it doesn't lock into place, so it's easy to knock it slightly which makes it stop working for a moment and makes your heart skip a few beats like you're going to knock it and its contents all over the floor. The two aforementioned cons are annoying enough that I would have actually rated it with 3 stars, if it didn't power through things as well, if not better, than my previously owned super pricey blenders. This blender works just as well, and again, sometimes better, than my BlendTec did, and is quieter even, and costs significantly less. Overall, it works great and I'm happy with it, and the cost savings!!!

This blender is HUGE!! It doesn’t fit under my cabinets. The container is plastic and has a weird design that is not smooth on the inside so the nuts and cacao nibs I blend get stuck and I have to use a spatula to remove them from the corners. The blender doesn’t do too well with hunks of frozen fruit. There is a weird smell that comes from the product when it’s blending and the lid is difficult for me to remove. There is a washer on the bottom that is already starting to rust. Regret my purchase.

So far this blender is holding up to what we use it for. I have a problem with plastic parts/accessories but this mixer seems to be pretty durable.

This is by far the best blender I’ve owned - and what I’ve always been looking for. I just received it and made my first smoothie which included carrots, beet, celery, kale and everything was completely smooth in the end. There was absolutely no lump. I’ve never had that result especially with carrots. I’m 100% pleased and is so happy that I made this purchase.

This blender is awesome....I purchased this blender on recommendation from my cousin....wow what a secret i had never heard about this brand before....it is large, powerful and sturdy all under $100....Very pleased with purchase

Excellent blender. I’ve been using it to make smoothies and to also process the abundance of tomatoes we have grown over the summer. It’s bigger than a regular blender. I store it on my counter base and blender cup size by side. I would recommend this blender

It makes short work of ice and never bogs down. It's easy to use and easy to clean, it so much better than any I have ever owned. We Love it!

The best blender , recommendations at 100 percent , blending very fast and very fine any thing dried.
