The dried green chives seem to have a good aroma of garlic and onions that is quite noticeable after opening the bag. The whole 6-ounce bag of chives is huge and fills up a good portion of my office chair. I tried the chives with my usual tofu teriyaki slow cooker recipe and the dried chives produced a good flavor. It works well for making veggie Thai pot stickers as well. Overall, the bag I received doesn't expire until April 3, 2026, which should last me a long time since I only use a small amount at a time to garnish my recipes.

This is a very large bag of chives! It's so convenient to have freeze dried chives that are always ready to be used. It seems whenever I need them, the fresh ones in the store don't look so fresh, or I do buy them and they spoil before I can use the entire container.When you first open the bag, you can smell the freshness. It is surely expensive at $9.99 but we pay the price for convenience and when I buy chives from store I usually don't use it and they rot, So this is a convenient option which I am willing to pay the price for.

This bag is about the size of an 11x14 portrait and the amount belies it's weight of 6 oz. It's a huge amount and I divided it into several mylar zip bags to keep most of it airtight and not expose all of it to air as I use it.
