Where have you been all of my life
Since I lost half of my hearing in each ear in 2011, I have been searching for the perfect volume control cell phone headset to no avail.I've spent a ton of money of every thing imaginable to help me hear on my cell phone, but nada ...nothing!UNTIL NOW!!! For the first time ever I can hear without straining people voices on my cell phone. And the headset doesn't hurt my ears to wear them.I highly recommend this product to hard of hearing people. I wish my hearing aids were this good. And I spent and arm and a leg on those things.Kudo's to you for making such a product for people like myself

Defective by design! Microphone switch *is* a microphone and gets activated when the switch is off!
I ordered this headset specifically because it had a physical microphone off switch. The ability to electrically disconnect the microphone while in a meeting to make sure that nobody can hear you when they shouldn't no matter what the software is doing is hugely important, especially post-COVID, and variations of this design are the only headsets currently on Amazon that advertise this feature.Unfortunately, advertise is the operative word here, because this headset does not do this. However, the other reviews are not quite accurate in terms of what it actually does do, which is why I'm writing this review. Several other reviewers are under the impression that switching off the microphone forces an iPhone to switch over to its internal microphone. While I can't verify that an iPhone won't switch over to an internal microphone as I do not have one to check with (it's possible it detects an impedance change or something along those lines and switches over), it seems unlikely, because there is another mechanism at play here which makes the switch useless regardless of what the headset is connected to. Others seem to think it simply muffles the headset microphone, and this is likewise untrue. It does completely disconnect that microphone -- but only that microphone. The real problem is that the switch itself *is* a microphone, one that's sensitive enough to pick up your voice at a low level even when it's dangling several feet below your mouth. This can be verified by switching off the microphone on the headset, disconnecting the quick release cable from the headset while the other end is still plugged in, and talking into the switch itself. Your voice will come through loud and clear, despite the headset's microphone being disconnected in two different ways. And the further you are from the switch, the less it picks up -- it is definitely something in the switch box itself that's acting as a microphone. As an aside, this is another design flaw: the switch is below the breakaway, placing it nearly four feet from the headset and only about 2.5 feet away from the device it's plugged into. The pictures in the description very carefully do not show this, and with good reason, because the switch hangs too low to easily reach when you need it, and if you use the lapel clip to hold it higher, you defeat the safety measure provided by the breakaway connector! It's really a shame, because the headset itself is well designed, comfortable to wear, with decent sound quality for a device of this type, and a microphone that can be swung around in either direction to allow for wearing on either side of the head. Which is why it gets two stars and not one -- if you really don't care about the mute switch, it's not a bad headset, though in that case you could likely do better for your money if you look at devices without the switch. But the primary selling point for me was the mute switch in the cable, and that is defective by design, so back to Amazon it goes.

Great for the office.
I work in a cubicle and don't want to disturb my team. These headphones help a lot, though once in awhile I'm told the other party in the meeting can hear a lot of static. They are comfortable. I'd buy them again.

Great for laptop only
Has a horrible sound feedback when used with a cell phone. Comfortable and works great with a laptop though.

Well built, great sound cancellation, nice features.
This review is for a MAIRDI Gold/Double Ear switched cell phone headset with noise cancelling mic. The unit appears to be well enough made for normal usage, and is nice looking. The noise cancellation feature is excellent, much better than I expected from a unit for this price, and much better than a few other similar units I have that are much more expensive. The mic seems to work very well, and others I have spoken with say the sound they hear is clear and strong coming from me. The mic stem swivels easily into almost any position, is flexible, and stays put once adjusted. We often have a lot of background noise (voices, equipment, wind) and both my wife and I were able to carry on conversations on the phone with ease. The speaker sound is about average for a a phone headset, which is great for phone calls, but certainly not what I would use for serious music listening. The headset fits very well, and is very easy to adjust for size and position, and stays put once adjusted. The disconnect feature is a good one, and one of the reasons I chose this set rather than similarly rated headsets that did not have this feature. It allows disconnecting the phone if you want to without removing the headset (or your hat or helmet or hood). The disconnect / reconnect plug & jack are very well made and stay connected unless you pull them apart with two hands. Because that connection is no where near the phone or the headset, there is no danger of damaging anything when disconnecting. Both the headset switch and volume control are also remote from phone or headset, and easy to use. The switch toggle is sturdy and cannot be accidentally turned off or on, much better than some of the other units I have. Overall I would rate this headset an excellent buy, and would absolutely recommend it, especially for the price ($37).

Lite weight and clear
Not long lasting, not the most durable.

Good for online meetings
These work fine for my purposes: video conferencing with the office. The sound quality is good enough, no complaints about hearing or being heard. Other pros: very adjustable, can be worn either side; stays in place; has a reasonably long cable. Cons: the headset gets a bit uncomfortable on the ear after about an hour; the cable is rather stiff and you can end up with loops and curves sticking out if you roll it up when not in use.

This works sort of. Voice reproduction is a little foggy.
Sound was not as good as I thought it could be. I bought it to help my hearing telephone calls. Since found out it does not automatically pair on start up. I don't have time to start it up before I answer a call. Back to wired for me then!

They're fine
They're fine. Mic stopped being picked up by the laptop after a while so had to block the laptop mic. Feel a bit cheap. Are fine. Definitely not noise cancelling though.
