Early last week I was doing PH level tests on the water we were drinking, and discovered that the tap water had a higher alkaline level than the paid water I was buying. In fact some of paid bottle water was slightly acidic. This device helped in determining the water's PPM / EC levels. In this case the tap water had a higher PPM and EC level than the paid bottle water. Very easy to use, Turn it on and insert it into the water. Read the meter results after it has settled a few seconds. If you are testing your drinking water, this is a handy tool. Since most of our body is made of water, these tests are helping us determine what the best water to put in our body.

This is a great gadget to have and very easy to use. I bought it because I wanted to test the filtered water we use from our refrigerator and after testing it I immediately ordered a new filter. Now I find myself testing all the water I drink ever where I go. It's handy that it is small enough that you can just put it in your purse and carry it with you. An added bonus is we also used it to check the water for our aquarium. Definitely recommend.

This tester is great for those moments when you feel like your brita water just doesn't taste the same. When I change my brita filter, the tds meter reads around 20 ppm. After a few weeks I can see that the ppm reads higher. My faucet water is pretty bad so I like to change the filter when it gets to be over 200. I'm glad I bought this handy little gadget.

It was pretty easy to use, just little hard to see display. its not water proof, but it could probably be shaken and b fine

This is too easy to use! I didn't even need to read the instructions to get it to work (although you will most likely need it to interpret the results). I tested it on my tap water and water filter and could see the difference immediately! Can't wait to use this when I go abroad (very curious how the water is in El Salvador)

This seemed to work well out of the box. Seems pretty accurate, but without calibration I would not put it to scientific use.

Great quality water hardness meter...helps me decide which bottled water is cleanest, as I want water that has no minerals or anything else in it(besides distilled)...also tested my tap water hardness. I sometimes carry it with me to test water at friends and relatives houses, as well at work! Love this meter!

Mine worked well for about 4 months of normal use checking fish tank TDS and temperature. Now it shows just a dash across the screen when inserted into water.
