Finished this chunky Icelandic blanket. In no time! Love the feel of this even though it is acrylic. I usually only work with natural fibers, but read about this being used without the acrylic feel! Love it.

This is a great yarn, and I’ve used it for multiple projects. It’s very soft, knits up quickly, and washes well.However, if you’re buying multiple skeins, I don’t recommend buying from Amazon as they don’t consider dye lots at all when shipping. I recently bought 4 skeins, planning to make a cardigan. They came in 3 separate shipments. Every single skein was a different dye lot.The price is usually comparable in a craft store or lion brand.com, and may even be lower if they’re having a sale. Why risk the dye lot lottery through Amazon?

For the $6.00 I paid for the yarn, you get a very big bundle of fine yarn. I'm using it to make a blanket mixing it with the Wool Ease Desert and it's combining just fine. It's soft and stretchy. I just ordered 2 more bundles of black to finish off my blanket. I love it. Will recommend.Update:This stuff is shedding like crazy. Rolling across my floors like tumbleweeds. I still like the softness, hopefully when I wash it, it well stop shedding.

Disappointed in this yarn, my fault for not noticing. This is Thick and Quick 100% Acrylic yarn, NOT WOOL EASE Thick and Quick 20% wool/80%acrylic yarn. After Knitting 6 blankets (64"x48") with WOOL EASE Thick and Quick, I could immediately tell the difference. I find this yarn more difficult to maintain proper tension, it just doesn't work up as nicely.

Purchased the Lion Brand Yarn Thick & Quick Bonus Bundle Yarn to crochet a lapghan as the pattern author recommended it as you won't have to add skeins of yarn as often. The pattern author was correct as I did not have to add skeins of yarn as often meaning I had to weave in less loose ends.The yarn is soft, perhaps not as cuddly as I would like, but it isn't all that bad either.Recommend.

Disappointed. This yarn seems to have been made out of scraps. I encounter knots where it had been tied back together every few feet. Also chinks of undyed/unspun fiber throughout. This isn’t acceptable for a yarn product. Who wants their project full of knots and chunks of undyed product?? Not me!!!

I’m surprised I like this yarn. My project called for the large bundle so only needed 2 skeins. Going fast. I’m making a cowl hoodie for winter to go over an antique cape.

Was skeptical when ordering the bonus bundle and feared many knots and irregularities. This was not the case. Ordered 8 skeins and several had no knots or thin spaces at all. Out of 8 bundles, there were 2 different dye lots, but I decided when ordering to take the chance. When they arrived (2 separate shipments) indeed there were two dye lots, but they looked identical and no problem at all. The afghan is nearly done and I'm very happy and would not hesitate to order again.

I knit an afghan for my great niece. It was promised before the COVID hit but it took some time to agree on a pattern. Next problem was getting enough skeins of the proper weight of yarn in the same colour to start the project.
