Pics are a bit misleading
I was a little disappointed in this carafe because in the photos the vertical seams in the glass are very hard to notice. In person, the seams are quite heavy and prominent, which I believe is a sign of cheap manufacturing and in any case gives it a very clunky look. On the other hand, the glass is quite heavy and feels like it won't break easily. It also has a nice design and shape. If you're looking for something light and elegant this probably isn't it, but for something durable and strong, this may be right for you.
