This is a versatile tarp that can be used for extra shelter in conjunction with a tent for extra sitting and cooking room and as well as the 2000hh waterproof cover it's also a good option for a shaded sitting area and it provides protection from the sun's UV rays.The tarp is a large size 10ft by 10ft with a lot of peg out points that are also reinforced with extra stitching for durability.The tarp is a nice natural colour , it's a good choice for family camping but could also be used as a hammock tarp or for wild camping as well as family camping.It comes with ground stakes and guy lines to put the tarp shelter up nice and taut.Because it comes with two poles you can also set the tarp up as a canopy shelter in the garden for bbq, seating area with shelter from showers and the sun.The tarp is fully waterproof at 2000hh , it will certainly provide shelter from the rain.The only downside is it's not the most lightweight set up but if camping by car or to use in the garden it's a good set up to have for extra shelter.

Worst thing ive bought . Tent pegs bent just by hand pushing them into ground

Really good value for money lightweight camping tarp (which is what I needed). The poles and pegs on the other hand are really heavy steel... So if they don't rust they'll certainly be strong.The tarp itself only has 8 tieout points (all of which are really well reinforced) but it's not like professionally branded ones that you can hang on a ridgeline for hammock camping, you'd have to drape it over the ridgeline. Likewise if you wanted to make the traditional irregular trapezoid pyramid tarp shelter, there are no tieout points at each quarter, so you'd need to invest in some tarp clips.The tarp is incredibly light and if taking it alone with hiking poles is a great addition to your backpacking adventures. Alternatively if weight is no option you have everything you need to build a camp kitchen as an additional covered area to your tent, but for me, I'm generally a hiker/motorbike camper so the included hardwear is just too heavy, however, we are going car camping next week so the whole lot will come with us to be used as an outdoor shelter to supplement the tent.I've gotta say I'm loving the stuff sack, its huge... Plenty of space for tarp, poles, pegs, guylines AND spare (to fit walking poles, tarpclips, carabiners, bungee balls etc) and it's been waterproofed too.Hmmm £40 for DD Hammocks 3x3 Tarp (with its extra tie out points) or £41 for this one with the poles/guylines/pegs included.... It's a close call, quality is about the same, so I'm not gonna recommend either way. I do a lot of hammock camping and my DD Tarp 3x3 is good for that, but expensive. This works out cheaper (if you were going to buy poles/pegs/guylines)....
