Amazing accessibility product -All Terrain Cane
I broke my ankle and required surgery before a planned camping vacation. I searched for an accessibility tool that would allow me to still hobble around camp, get up steps, walk on uneven ground, etc- all that is involved on Adirondack camping. This ergobaum cane did everything I needed it to! The built in flashlight was great for walking to the bathroom at night from the camp site! The "foot" bottom of the cane pivots beautifully and adjusts to uneven ground, grassy areas gravel, and divit "pot holes" in an underground mountain tunnel! I put this thing to the test! I am no light weight. This all terrain cane has a sturdy enough spring on it to help boost me up a very tall nonregulated not ADA accessible steps! It bore all my weight so my ankle remained safely tucked into the aircast boot. The knee rest feature was helpful while waiting on lines. The ergonomic handle is truly very comfortable and sturdy. While in a museum, I used a very uncomfortable knee scooter, and was able to easily fold up the cane to put in the scooter's basket so I could bring the ergobaum 7G with me! The slim design makes it easy to keep near you. The arm strap is handy when you forget that you need a cain and grab something with that hand... with the arm strap on, the cane won't fall to the ground; which is a nice safety feature and prevents you from falling over if you had to grab a regular crutch when it falls to the ground. I truly appreciate very little detail that went into designing this mobility tool. It allowed me to adapt and enjoy my camping adventure without imposing further injury to my broken ankle. I don't know why Ortho Surgeons don't make this tool a standard recovery/mobility tool prescription! I paid full price out of pocket; but it was worth EVERY penny!!! After my recovery, I plan to use this handy device for future hiking trips!

Like trading up from a Ford to a Ferrari; very nice.
I absolutely love these crutches. They are so much nicer than the typical loftstrand crutches that I've used for the past 20+ years. It's like trading in a Ford for a Ferrari. The light is handy, the beeper/horn is cute, and does draw attention when used. The suspension in the crutches is wonderful. And the angle of the hand grips are easily adjustable. Also the hand grips are a nice squishy rubber. I have pain in my hands, and the grips on these crutches are much gentler on my hands. I really like the unusual tips. They grip smooth surfaces much better than any other I've ever used. And the wider base makes it easier to walk on soft or grassy ground. I like the safety feature of the reflective strip; however I did replace the neon yellow tape with a more aesthetically pleasing reflective tape. I'm not a big fan of yellow. I also removed the knee rests. They weren't of use to me, and I kind of hated them. But they are very easy to remove, if you have a Philip's screwdriver handy. Although I will say that the knee rests were sturdy, and well made with nice rubbery padding. And of course my favorite feature is that they can be folded in half. It's fairly simple, and easy to pull them apart, and then slide them back together. Sometimes it's difficult to find a space to store cruches when you are out somewhere, or on an airplane. They are a bit heavier than standard crutches, but it doesn't bother me. These crutches are top quality. They even have a nicely designed adjustable strap that helps to keep the crutch on your arm. And there is a replaceable pad inside the arm cuff, and on the inside of the strap. I was also very happy to find that the seller is quick to respond to any inquiry, and willing to help with any problems that arise with the order. I had a small concern, and they resolved it immediately. I'll be recommending these crutches to anyone who asks about them.

Lifesaver Worth this Price
Best product.Saved me when I had hip bursitis for 2 months. I love the forearm support. I love the shock absorber in the hand and at the base. As with any walking device you need to be more aware on wet surfaces. Lots of questions about where I got it. Was it more comfortable than traditional crutches . I believe it is because I have lymph node issues and I'm unable to use a normal under the arm crutch . It is slightly heavier than a traditional crutch but I think that is because of quality. I felt more secure then if I was using a traditional underarm crutch . This was a lifesaver for me . The quality is unmatched. I was asked almost daily where a family member could get one who was in need. Great product can make your life much easier and much more comfortable. Also bought crutch caddy to attached to the back to hold my cell phone Keys wallet. I was also able to get the crutch caddy at Amazon.

Wish I’d bought it sooner
This crutch exceeded my expectations. Build quality is excellent and the tip is very robust so should last awhile but I’m impressed by the comfort of the grip. The grip is a dense foam so it’s “squishy” but still very firm, a good balance between the two. The ability to adjust the angle of the hand grip as it compares to the shaft of the crutch allows you to eliminate stress on your wrist. The “horn” is cute but I don’t think is needed, It’s not very loud but the built in light comes in handy. Wish I had bought one sooner

Good, but could be better.
First, this crutch is way more comfortable and stable than a standard cane or single crutch. However, there are some things about the design that make it feel more like a prototype than a production model. The flashlight battery compartment is not very well designed. Especially if the user has any arthritis or other dexterity issues. Also, the height adjustment mechanism is kind of clunky. There are better options than the spring loaded ball bearings.Lastly, the painted finish scratches super easily, which is not desirable in a device that is used on a daily basis. Maybe the 8G will be better.

Perfect Cane
bought this for my dad and he really likes it. One good thing about this is that it has a button on the grip that you can press and it will let people know you're behind them. also comes with a led light for night walking. One minor
