These are complete dark brown phenollic 3-way pull chain sockets. They come complete with socket, shell, and cap. The outside pieces screw together and bottom cap has 3/8" threaded hole that works with standard 1/8 IPS pipe.

It seems to be a well designed and made product except for the chain pull that has too much resistance. I bought this to make it easier to turn the lamps on and off. I'm reluctant to install them based on excessive pull pressure required to actuate the switch. Even a squirt of spray silicone didn't help enough to give me confidence in the product. I'm disappointed but otherwise the product looks great.

Doesn't work. The 3rd pin is too short to contact the 3rd ring on the 3-way bulb. It's gone in the trash! I bought an old-fashioned metal socket that fits and works perfectly.

Broke the same day It was installed
At first glance it appeared to be good quality at first, but the pull chain has become stuck inside the housing. Pulling the chain does nothing. I have to unscrew the bulb to turn it on and off. I will have to unwire it and re-do everything.
