These traps are good for bass in the corners of your room. I don't like the misleading advertising that all these companies use about "soundproofing." These are acoustic treatments, not soundproofing. NO foam can soundproof a room. These do a decent job of treating your bass in your room, though, so besides the misleading advertising, it's a nice product.

I was worried when I first opened the package because they were so compressed in the vacuum sealed shipment. However, after just leaving them out overnight, they returned to full size.These are super thick and dense. They are just what I needed for all the corners in my little sound proofing booth.

I recently ordered the 8 Pack Acoustic Foam Bass Traps for my recording studio. The pack provides a set of acoustic foam panels designed to absorb low-frequency sound waves, particularly beneficial in corners where bass tends to accumulate. The panels are lightweight and can be easily adhered to walls or ceilings using adhesive squares or spray adhesive, which is not included. The panels work well for reducing low frequency rumble but they will not soundproof a room. The panels come vacuum sealed and when the pack is opened, they expand, but one of the panels did not expand well and was misshapen.The 8 Pack Acoustic Foam Bass Trap is a good value option for sound dampening in small studios, but keep in mind that they will not actually soundproof a room. They are easy to install and effective at absorbing some bass frequencies. However, their size and potential quality control issues may limit their effectiveness.

Amazing quality and thickness corner bass trap acoustic panels! They come compressed and decompress to full size in almost seconds! I had no problems with my product and its very hard to find any panels that're 12"x7"x7" in thickness for a good price and these check both boxes! 5/5!

I like these for softening the reflected sound out of several hotspots I have in my home studio. I especially like them where the ceiling meets the wall opposite where my mics are usually mounted. I have them on top of fiber acoustic panels, and together they tame the occasional problem low end reflections.These actually do seem to be a fairly dense foam, at least well above average. I have these mounted with double-sided tape (not included). They line up well compared to most foam panels and seem to blend in well with previous installations.I like these foam bass traps and can recommend them for helping manage low and low-mid audio reflections in corners and at ceiling edges.

These acoustic foam corner panels are roughly 6-1/2” on one side and 7-1/4” on the other side. They are just over 11-3/4” tall. They have widely ranging sharp cutouts to break up sound waves. The thickest foam at any one place to the corner is 6” while the thinnest of the cuts is 4”. However, there are lots of shorter depths of foam as you get closer to the edge.These corner panels don’t come with a sound absorption graph and ratings chart. They aren’t a uniform depth, so it’s hard to compare them to known test data for acoustic foam that I have. Based on data that is available, you can estimate maximums and maybe even an average of sound attenuations.At the 6” depth, the maximum decibel reduction at 100 Hz is probably around 7dB. Helpful, but minimally so. At the 4” depth, that decibel reduction drops to just 4dB at 100 Hz. That’s over an area that’s about 4” x 12”. The rest of the 9-1/2” cross-sectional depth is only going to be about 2dB, maybe 3dB at 100Hz. It’s slightly better at 250 Hz, with a max 11dB and 8dB at 4”, down to about 3dB at the edges.At mid to high frequencies, these acoustic corner panels will do much better with significant dB reduction.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Well, if you’re looking for really effective bass traps, these aren’t the solution, but they do give some decent reduction at 250 Hz over a very narrow area.
