Works great as intended!
Works great as it is fast at multiple transfers of data for video and files. Another plus is that I can hook up a controller and a few other devices and still have a few spare ports. It is easy to transport with while on the go with a laptop. I did end up using a external power source to create a more stable transfer using a bigger hard drives. As you can see in the image the light on the hub being purple. I can appreciate the little detail of the light being red when just external power being applied to it or blue when just it is plugged into a PC. Then it's would be purple when both external power and being plugged into the PC. I was testing how a game would play using using the c hub. One thing that I did find interesting though. Is that going through the windows setting trying to see what data is on the hard drive it just closes itself or crashes although through the file explorer it was perfectly fine at locating the files that were downloaded on that hard drive through the hub. I think it may have something to do with just a modern tech adaptation since it was an older hard drive and this issue wasn't with all storage devices that I've used on it so that's not a big deal. I do have to say that even with great transfer speed depending on the storage device; the type of storage device play some of the roll of getting good speed.

Super Nice HUB
I like that this USB hub has the different type of connections. I have a external dvd drive that has a “C” connector, and my headset has the USB connection as does my mouse. I only have 1 USB connection port on my laptop and 2 USB C connection ports. With this hub I can have several things up and running, like watching a movie with my BT headset. So nice that it just plugs in and you are ready to do whatever you need. I did not find any loss of transfer for any item I was using when all ports had something plugged into it. It has a nice aluminum casing and nice long cord that is not just plastic coated. It works the way it should, the only thing that might be an upgrade is to add on/off button next to each connecting port so you can just leave them plugged in when not using. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A NICE SLIM HUB with different transfer speeds for the different connections.

Fantastic USB-C Hub, especially for price.
(Tested from Review Sample)This RSHTECH USB-C Hub has served greatly for me. I used it in combination with multiple charging and data USB-A devices, as well as a USB-C flash drive and Oculus/Meta Quest charger (wasn't tested with Link Cable). It had no issues with outputting the data and charging I needed with such High-Speed Ports. This really is a great value for the money, and I couldn't find something comparable. The housing is high-quality too, an aluminum housing rather than plastic. It's Portable too, being ~5 1/2" long and ~1 1/4" wide; easy to store in my Lenovo Laptop Bag without being bulky.Overall, this is a fantastic Hub that I can't recommend enough! Thanks to RSHTECH for the sample!

Great for all that mess of USB-A and USB-C cables for the devices
My motherboard has, without any expansion and without using the headers, strictly only 7 USB-As and 1 USB-C in the back IO plate. But anyone with a PC knows how devices' demands quickly overtake the ports available...Keyboard dongle, mouse dongle, microphone, headphone, webcam, and speakers, 6 already just to name the core, lights, external drives, and devices you didn't think they'd be in USB-C format galore! This is perfect. Just strictly USB-C and USB-A ports. Good variety and just what I needed.I already have a separate adapter for Micro/SD cards and prefer to only use when needed, no need for a spot permanently taken up on a hub for that.

Compact extension to my mini-computer
I recently upgraded from a decade old desktop to a mini-computer hanging on the back of my monitor. This is wonderful except any time I need to plug in a usb device, I have to go behind the monitor and the pc only had a few ports. This hub is THE solution. It plugs into my PCs usb-c port and provides many remotely accessible usb ports. It requires no extra power when using it for basic data needs, but requires a usb-c power input (not included) if you want to charge something or power more demanding drives. It cannot be used for usb-c monitors, it is only for data. I mainly use it to host my mouse and keyboard dongles, flash drives, usb ssds, and separately powered usb hard drives. I’ve also used it with a usb capture card to record video from a FireTv stick. It has worked perfectly for all my needs.

A small 7 Port USB HUB, that packs a fast punch!
A small robust & well-manufactured device that packs a huge punch with 3 x 10Gb ports, 2 x USB C, 1 x USB A, & 4 x 5GB USB A ports a total of 7 ports, the little booklet provides clearly in good English everything you need to know to use it.I purchased this for use in my Campervan, I shoot 8K & 4K videos & record videos & photographs on a multitude of electronic devices and the RSHTEK RSH-T17C 7 X USB Ports will make my life easier & digital transfers faster. But I have transferred all my Blue Ray disks to Hard drives and will use this hub to stream movies in my van.Let me explain, I was born in the mid 50’s & like an old car, I've got a lot of wear & tear, arthritis in my thumbs being a major issue, So removing the tiny 512Gb & 1Tb SD cards from the cameras & drones is a nightmare, frequently pinging across the floor. So I mostly transfer video and photos using the USB C port on the device. the 3 x 10Gb ports will make my life much easier saving half the time of my current USB hub. I expect to leave my AcePro cameras connected all the time as they discharge even when not used.I highly recommend this product.

A very good and pricey choice
I can see this being ideal for someone travelling or who needs a minimalist desk setup. It’s not a big size and can be packed up easily. If you don’t need it for either of those things then I’d get a bigger one with more ports as prices are very similar. As it is though this works very well. It gives you a fair few more ports. This is one of the better quality ones I’ve used and does look a fair bit better. The speeds are very good and so far it’s lived up to the advertised speeds.I feel it’s a bit on the pricey side but is going for a Mac approach of you’ll pay more for something that works very well and looks the part. So it’s not that I wouldn’t recommend it, more that it’s good for the right person.

A Versatile Hub with a caveat
RSHTECH USB C Hub 10Gbps: A Multifunctional Connectivity SolutionI recently had the opportunity to test out the RSHTECH USB C Hub 10Gbps (RSH-T17C) as part of the Vine programme, and overall, it proved to be a handy addition to my setup. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:Design and Build Quality:The hub boasts a sleek aluminium finish, which not only looks smart but also feels sturdy. However, I did notice that it might be prone to scratches if handled roughly or tossed into bags alongside other cables. The LED indicator is a useful feature, providing clear status updates on power and data transfer – I did test each mode.Connectivity Options:While the hub successfully converted multiple devices to a single USB Type C port, I encountered an issue with compatibility when trying to connect an external 2TB M.2 NVMe drive. Despite various attempts, including different power configurations, the drive remained inaccessible through the hub. This could potentially be a concern for users with similar high-performance storage needs.Fast Data Transfer:For most devices, including external SSDs, the hub offered decent performance compared to older USB 2 hubs. However, the compatibility issue with the M.2 NVMe drive highlighted a limitation in high-performance scenarios.Long Cable and Power Port:The inclusion of a 2ft nylon-braided USB cable and a DC 5V power port enhances usability and flexibility in cable management. This ensures stability, particularly for high-power USB devices. What’s Included:In addition to the hub itself, the package includes a user guide in multiple languages, and a warranty card, providing essential documentation and peace of mind for users.Considerations:It’s important to note that the hub is aimed at data transfer duties and it’s not designed for charging multiple devices simultaneously. Additionally, the USB-C 10Gbps port doesn’t support charging, which could be a limitation for some users. The compatibility issue with the M.2 NVMe drive highlights a potential concern for users requiring high-performance storage solutions and may well be due to the lack of power availability through the USB-C port. However, I persevered, and since the caddie housing the M.2 NVMe drive also came with a cable for USB 2 connections, I tried that as well, but that too failed to be compatible with the MVMe drive.Overall Impression:Despite the compatibility issue encountered with my M.2 NVMe drive, the RSHTECH USB C Hub 10Gbps offers solid construction, versatile connectivity options, and fast data transfer speeds. Considering its reasonable price point and overall performance, I give it 4 stars, taking all factors into consideration. It’s a valuable addition to any setup, with the caveat of being mindful of potential compatibility issues with MVMe caddies.

Very compact, great number of ports, covers all our devices, good cable length.
I loved how small and compact this adaptor is and it is packed with so many ports. This is perfect for my laptop that has very limited number of ports. It also means that I am plugging in and out of the adaptor and not wearing out the ports on my laptop. The data transfer is impressively fast and consistent and I now have ample spare ports for work.
