I highly recommend this bulb if you looking for a nice bronzing bulb. I have tanned 7 times so far and I am extremely happy with the results I have received so far. Always remember to exfoliate your skin several times a week to help get rid of the dead skin cells. It will help with your tanning results. This bulb is rated at a 8.5% bronzing rate. The tanning sessions should be around 12 to 15 minutes. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Always remember to use a good quality tanning lotion, my favorite is Designer Skin.

These babies are super, super hot. I spent a long, long time reading and actually researching all the different UV tanning bulbs available. One thing I learned very quickly was that tanning bulbs have a marketing culture very much akin to car sales, fireworks stands, and the fitness/wellness industry in general. Everything is expressed in SPECTACULAR fashion... Lot's of big capital letters, bright colors, breathtakingly named product, and even bigger claims. Some friendly pointers: 1) DON'T PAY TOO MUCH ATTN TO PRICE! These are friggin' LIGHT BULBS! They are ALL grossly overpriced! So DON'T think you are getting "better" or "more" based on a higher price. 2) What you are buying here is UV RADIATION. More specifically UV"A" & UV"B." UVA penetrates deeper in the skin; is slower to tan; but once developed, is deeper in color & longer lasting. It also tends to burn less than UVB. UVB, however, is more superficial, but provides that "instant gratification" most tanners demand. All the different bulbs on the market contain varying degrees of one vs the other. (UVA vs UBV) After much research, I determined these particular bulbs to have nearly the industry max of both; at less than 1/2 the price of some. That said, be sure to pay attention to the "10 minute" restriction. My timer is for 30 minute bulbs. Popping the subsequent burn-related water blisters with fingernails sounded like squeezing bubble-wrap! However, after a major & lengthy peeling period, followed by several 10-minute (recommended maximum exposure) sessions, the resultant ongoing golden color is spectacular. You'll sport the Fresh-from-Hawaii look every day of the year!

I would just go with another brand. The bulbs turn on when they want, it’s annoying. I have to keep adjusting the bulb, as a result bulbs would just come loose sometimes in the middle of tanning. Only had about two weeks, used maybe 5 times and one already seemed to have burned out because an orange light turns on at the bottom indicating failure . They also aren’t that hot. I will be returning.

Well packed, no apparent damage.Unfortunately, 2 did not work//I moved them to different to be sure it was not a starter or a ballast.No Luck 2 not working so I am using 2 old ones for now but I would like the 2 replaced.Thank you

Updated: 8/1 Maybe they needed to burn off the new..?? I spend the whole 30 mins in bed, but now they are tanning. Yay. (Pic)I am so disappointed in these bulbs. I was hopeful that would be amazing. I have been in my bed every day for over a week and no Tanlines. I guess I’m out $250. The packaging was amazing though they did a really good job on sending them maybe that’s what I paid for? Now what??!??

The bulbs arrived quickly but 3 bulbs were completely shattered. I am so disappointed.
