Product description Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that contributes to the normal function of the immune system and blood calcium levels which in turn supports the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. The supplement aims to help counteract the impact of sedentary lifestyles and reduction in sun exposure (not solely due to UK weather). The skin is unable to create vitamin D when covered (be this with sunscreen or clothing). Vitamin D3 is the form of vitamin D that our bodies produce naturally, following a biotransformation of cholesterol following exposure to ultra violet rays from the sun. Specifically, Vitamin D3 is converted by the liver into the circulating form - 25(OH)D3. The circulating form is then converted, by the kidneys and other tissues into 1-25(OH)2D3, the active form, which is then able to instigate the physiological effects associated with vitamin D. This same conversion takes place with Vitamin D2 also, but some believe that the conversion is superior from D3. This is not true. The conversion of D3 to 25(OH)D is slightly more rapid than from D2. Reduced pain and improvement in skin..
I have left a review which you may also like to read on the collegen and hyaluronic acid vitamins sold by this company as i am taking both but i believe both the vit D capsules beside those combined are helping me massively. My skins improved immensely in just over a week and i feel so much better in myself as i do lack vitamin D being a fibromyalgia sufferer. I have thin dry skin and suffer in pain daily but my god these have really helped me. There tiny so easy to swollow and all stock is sealed and packaged well.Highly recommend...

Helps dry skin!
I decided to take this to see if it would help some dry skin I had behind my ear. To my disbelief it got rid of it! It started helping straight away. After about 50 days it has pretty much gone!
