Bought these for a party. My daughter wanted a sweet table for her 16th party. Great way for getting the sweets out of the jar. More hygienic than using your fingers

When I saw this listing I immediately had a potential use for them that didn't involve ice cubes but preserved foods. By preserved I mean things like olive, gherkins and beetroot in jars. I often struggle to get these things out of their jar and hope that these tongs will provide an easy way to do that.I like that these come in a generous pack of ten and are made from the timeless stainless steel. Size wise these are not the longest tongs I own but due to their size they give me good access to the jars I use. I particularly have trouble getting my olives out of the jar and often end up with a lot of brine as well as any olives that I manage to extricate. These tongs made grabbing an olive simple and the same was true with the gherkins.The finish on the edges of these tongs could be better. They are a bit rough and will be paying a visit to my polishing wheel to refine them a bit. Otherwise I am happy with the quality and ten sets for £7.59 represents great value.

These 10 mini tongs are really useful in the kitchen. I've already used them for picking grated cheese and mixing small amount of salad. Also great for taking out food in jars such as sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, anchovies etc. For £7.59 for 10 pieces at the time of order, it's a good value for money.
