I like it. Looks pretty and is fun to play. No learning curve. Sounds very melodic (even when just striking random notes). Love that it comes with all the accessories. The music book is a little suspect. Not sure it's got all the right notes listed. But no matter. The real fun comes from figuring out tunes on your own.

The media could not be loaded.  Great little drum to play with. The kids and adults love it. I’ve included a photo with the note conversions. I didn’t recognize many songs in the booklet but there are plenty of beginner songs to play on it. Jingle Bells, but Oh When the Saints, some of Ode to Joy, Hot Cross Buns, Mary had a Little Lamb, Rain Rain Go Away, This Old Man, Hush Little Baby can all be played on this drum. Check out Beginner Piano Lessons for Kids by Jay Wamsted…most of the songs work on this drum. (You will have to notice some handshifts for piano and work out the notes on harder songs.) Video of Ode to Joy included, but the sounds quality is better in person.

I got this for a child, but honestly, we all enjoy playing it. The tones are nice and we like being able to play with the mallets or our fingers. Very soothing and a good source of stress relief when we can borrow it from the kiddos

This drum does not sound anything like advertised. Instead of clear tones, it gives discordant, rasping sounds no matter how hard or soft you tap the "tongues". I don't know if it's due to the surrounding tongues vibrating in sympathy with the one you strike, or just poor quality metal. We put a genuine effort into looking for any sweet spots, but it's just a real disappointment.It's like hearing the tink of a child's toy piano compared to a real one. Do not waste your money on this one.

I love this drum. I have a much larger one and wanted a small one to supplement. It’s very uplifting and sounds like a music box when played, in contrast with the deeper tones of my large drum. I highly recommend this drum and find no flaw in it. Five stars!

I bought this for my 11 year older granddaughter she absolutely loved it! She worked hard to learn a song from the song book and then took it to school and played it for her class !

Beautiful drum. Sounds good, not that I know much about them. I expected a proper bag to carry it in but it come with a pull tie bag...The book won't teach you much , I don't know what zero means, The arch symbols, or the lines under the numbers.. I tried looking online and didn't find much. Im glad I got it on flash sale. I wouldn't recommend paying more than $43 for this one.

I am disappointed that the wood handles on the mallets are splintered badly. I just inspected it before I give it to our daughter for Christmas. So it hasn’t even been used. I’m not sure I want her to use it as is. She will ether end up with a bad splinter in her fingers or it will snap as the crack runs down the handle.

Bought this for my granddaughter a few Christmases ago, she really liked it, so did the adults

It is a very sturdy instrument and comes with the necessary tools to get you started.The booklet is also a good tool for beginners.

Affordable and good for children, adults or therapy.

For the most part, it's a great drum for children as it is not too loud and has a nice sound quality to it. I would highly recommend it. Only one negative thing, there was no explanation for the extra parts in the bag.
