The ruler comes out of the case
The case doesn't hold well the ruler. You have to put everything in a plastic bag anyway, so I feel it's a waste of money. Don't get this

was expecting more protection for the cost, very flimsy and was not happy that it would give much protection to a £120 ruler.. sent it back
