Pines Organic Barley Grass,500 mg,500 Count Tablets

For many years I have been choosing Pines because it is clean, green, organic, and beneficial to health of the body and planet.

I alternate between the barley grass and wheat grass tablets for the minerals and vitamins that both have but also for the alkalizing benefits. I feel this is important because my diet is sometimes too acid (coffee, sugar etc).I’ve stayed with this product for a long time because it is convenient to take and I believe it is well made from a great source.

The taste is fine if they should happen to disolve in your mouth. Not bitter at all. Not chalky. I have taken the Pines Organic Barley Grass tablets for over twenty years. Seven tablets is equal to one serving of the nutrients found in rich green, leafy, vegetables. For example Kale or Spinach. I may take up to 28 tablets each day. I have not gotten diarrhea, gas, nor an upset stomach. Personally I couldn't force myself to eat three or four servings of fresh or cooked leafy green vegetables in one day. I usually use a serving of my Pines Organic Barley Grass tablets when taking any medication that is recommended to be taken with food. I also LOVE the Pines Organic Wheat grass. Number of tablets is good. Last awhile. Found it easier to swallow if taken 2 at a time.

Their methods, and the care that goes into a) creating a highly nutritious product, and b) maintaining the integrity of the quality of the product is second to none.If you're health conscious and you travel, this product is THE product to take with you. It will do you well in withstandnig the tempations of airport food, and on-the-run fast food. It will hold you over.

Been taking it for a while good way to get greens in

Love pines barley grass - my children and I have taken Pines since ‘10. Our most recent bottle seems to have been a new formula(?) Although these are much easier to swallow whole, they now contain silica. Our little girls have always loved chewing their greens in the morning and before bed ... not sure I am comfortable giving them Pines’ new formula because of the added ingredients.
