Clarks High Performance Road Brake Pads CP240, 55mm Includes Spare Pads

Fitted to my Brompton to improve braking over generic one-piece road brake pads. They look smart and high quality. They fit well and have a slightly softer and grippier compound. Braking is slightly improved although the feel is a little spongier.

Pretty good and seem very effective; however, I had to add a couple of washers (one each shoe) as the Allen bolt was too long for my shoe housing clamp. Overall though very pleased.

So when it said 4 brake pads. I didn't realise it meant 2 + 2 replacements for those two equalling 4.Now I still have to buy another set.

These pads have a nice spongy feel to them that I prefer. Nice to get some spares too

Good pads, easy to fit and work well on the Tektro calliper on a Giant road bike. They need a little bedding in but I can't say that this would be any different to any other maker.

What it says on the tin

Been using this brand and pads for a while now. Quite pleased I must say. They seem to wear out in an expected way. I quite like the fact that you fit the brakes once and then you just slide the pads on/off.

These are not bad at all for inexpensive brakes. Work far better than the cheaper model and come with two sets of pads. Wear out far quicker in bad weather.
