It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be but that's ok it fits perfect when i lay down the back passenger side seat in my jeep grand cherokee then it slides perfectly in the notch created using the seat belt for some extra attachment. The latch I like because I don't have to stretch it and pull hard or push down if other material or luggage is up next to it, I only need to lift up the catch after tugging it down slightly, a good solid latch.I could have really done without the ruler on the top, perhaps you did that for fishing. I am a fisherman but no, a ruler embossed in the material is a no no, I will probably sand it off and put some stickers there. The cooler although expensive is going to work great I am quite certain. It is super super hot in Arizona throughout many seasons including winter and I want to keep things iced down for as long as possible for road trips. One of the main reasons I bought your cooler is because you have a clean out tap for the water that is created. That is huge and a good design, imagine not having one, I cannot.Thanks again, I have not road tripped it yet but will soon it's gonna be great. It has stickers on it already.

I'm stunned about how good this cooler is. It keeps items really cold while using those hard blue-ice packs. Without even pre-cooling the box, the ice packs were still frozen hard a day later, I've never experienced that before, this is my first foray into elite coolers. The Bison is extremely well built and very rugged, it looks like those coolers used to carry transplant hearts in. I highly recommend this product. …. Update: This product works even better than I could have hoped for. I've had to reduce the number of blue-ice packs I put in the cooler because the items I had in there were solidifying. The packs were still ROCK HARD after being in there for 3 days. I just ordered a refrigerator thermometer from Amazon so I can fine tune the depth of cold I need.

Gor this for my son for Christmas and ended up giving it to him early cause it was big and I couldn't hide it. Lmao! He has used it at least once already and could not believe that his ice packs didn't even start to melt after nearly a week in the cooler. Very impressed and we are a Bison family now for sure.

Wanted a cooler that would sit snuggly in the front or back of my collapsible wagon (Mac XL Wagon). This cooler is the PERFECT size without sacrificing on insulation! The best part is I only had to add ice maybe once during a weekend long trip and maybe twice on a week long trip.Positives:* Flipping latches for easy open and close* Molded handles* Perfect Size* Drain plug (the yeti roadie does not have a drain plug!)* Center grooves for an optional divider* Works as an extra seat in a pinch VERY sturdy!Negatives:* Not sold on these rope handles yet ... but I'm going to give them a season before I make up my mind.* The granite or grey color does not look the same color in person as in product pictures. Much lighter color.Bottom Line:* I ordered a SECOND one as a birthday present for my husband and he loves it!* Wish they made a version with a blue lid and cooler.

I'm absolutely happy that I decided to pull the trigger and buy this heavy duty cooler. I work in the Eagle Ford and needed something to keep my food and drinks cold for long periods of time. This works out really great. I couldn't be happier with this product. Thank you!

I have been wanting a large roto-molded cooler for ages, for long road trips and camping excursions. But I was having a hard time justifying the investment of some other brands, getting less space and just buying a "brand". What sold me on this was the Made in the USA, something you don't find with other competitors, along with the warranty. I wanted a larger size, tan one with great drainage and locking capabilities. It's got all of that. I will say it's not a true "matte tan" like I expected it to be; it's speckled. Not a huge problem for me but just an fyi. Love this cooler! Holds enough food for several days, retains *quality* ice beautifully, and while heavy, it is easy enough for an able-bodied person to handle alone. Highly recommend!

This thing is feeking awesome. Absolutely superior to any cooler I have owned or used. Yes that includes those so called 7 day coolers from most all manufacturers.American made with great customer service. Not that I have had an issue, just a question or two and you get to speak to a real person who speaks English.Used this to transport cakes from the top of the country to the bottom with no loss of ice at all after 5 days.

We do some of our camping in very hot regions. On two of our trips this year, the temp was in the high 90s. The little frig in our camper could not stay cold in that heat. So we decided to look for a camping cooler that would keep ice from melting. I read a lot of reviews on Amazon about some of the different coolers. I was impressed with the reviews about the Bison. I was also happy to see that it was made in the USA. Those two selling points sold me on the Bison. We bought the Bison 50 and we were truly amazed at well it kept the ice. I highly recommend the Bison.
