I like these. Looks and functions like the ones my local clinic uses.
These are safety lancets with pressure-activated, spring-loaded needles. After pricking your finger, just toss into the wastebasket. The needle/lancet cannot be used, it is locked inside after use. No need for special disposals for used needles.

Easy and Painless Blood Testing
I found the overall experience with the Ergolance Safety Lancet to be excellent. The product is very user-friendly, making blood sampling easy for anyone. There is minimal discomfort, and it's straightforward to use. I bought it to determine my family's blood types, and I am highly satisfied with its performance. The price of $19.95 for a pack of 100 lancets is quite reasonable. Considering the quality and the quantity provided, the cost-performance ratio is impressive. It's neither too cheap nor too expensive, fitting well within a budget for such medical supplies. This product is ideal for those who need to frequently check their blood, such as diabetic patients. Having these lancets at home is convenient, and their disposable nature ensures hygiene. They are easy to use, even for those not familiar with medical devices, providing a reliable solution for regular blood testing. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the packaging. It felt a bit basic and could be improved for a better first impression. However, this does not affect the functionality or reliability of the product, which remains excellent.Overall, my feeling about this product is very positive. It's easy to use, causes little pain, and is safe for all family members. The fact that it is disposable adds an extra layer of hygiene, which I appreciate. Given its reasonable price and excellent performance, it is a perfect addition to any household.

Safety
I'm in a bad habit of not changing my lancet needles, which makes it more painful and difficult to draw samples. I don't like needles, so when I visit my doctor, I don't look, but I'm surprised when it doesn't hurt. Well, it's obvious they use a new needle, but they also use disposable lancets. These lancets are so easy to use: twist off the cover, place, and press. You get a nearly painless sample with perfect accuracy. These safety lancets are pressure-activated, which means you apply pressure against your skin until it activates. Personally, my preference would be the button activated so I have more control of how hard I press it against my skin. They are available in several gauges and are color-coded according to the gauge to make things simple. I use the yellow 18g in the morning when samples are harder to obtain and blue 25g in the evening. These disposable lancets are the safest way to obtain samples because they are one-time use, but especially because the needle is never exposed. Additionally, they are great for on the go and traveling.Currently, they cost $21.00 or $0.21 each, which I feel is a good value.

Nice idea, but...
Being familiar with lancets and all the fun things associated with them, I was interested in these, so I got a box. They seem to be well made, and they look nice. To use one, simply twist and pull the same way any lancet is prepared for action. You won't see the lancet, as it is hidden down inside the blue and white container. Then, put the lancet against your finger and push until it clicks. You are now ready to take your blood sample. The lancet can be safely disposed of since it is self contained, and nothing sharp is sticking out to hurt anyone. That is one of the best things about this product. Ease of disposal. Now, for the not so great things. These take up a lot of space. They may be fine for at home if you have the space, and maybe if you're going out for dinner and you'll only need one, but for vacations, I wouldn't take them. I could easily pack eight or 10 standard lancets in the same amount of space that one of these uses. The pushing against a finger to get a blood sample is not painful, but I'm used to pushing a button and letting the lancet stab me rather than taking such an active part. That may be more a mind thing that one could overcome. To sum up, I think they're interesting, well made, a quality product. They work well, as designed. For me, they aren't all that practical for daily use or when I'm on an extended trip. Too much storage space is required. You may have different needs, and storage may not be an issue for you. If that is the case, I think you should try these.

Love these
You get 100 lancets in a box. Each lancet is single use. If you've never used these before, removing the safety tip might be troublesome until you get used to it. Grip the safety tip and turn it then pull straight off. Press the device against your finger and the needle will quickly and painlessly prick you. Squeeze your finger to get a decent amount of blood to put on the strips (sold separately) and discard. They're really easy to use, they work great and they're inexpensive

These work Great, Just Keep Twisting the Tab/Cap to get it off, (and Don't Pull Hard)
This is a review of the Dropsafe ErgoLance, 25 gauge, 1.8 mm lancet. Due to user error the first 4 lancets I tried were ruined. What I learned: To remove the tab/cap, just keep twisting while you very gently pull and it'll come right off. I made the mistake of giving it a quarter turn and then pulling, hard, which invariably broke the spring.Moving on, what do I like about this Dropsafe Lancet? The size, it's fairly small and is easy to hold and push against the side or top of your finger, which is what activates it. This one is 25 gauge. Dropsafe makes various styles of lancet with gauges ranging from 17, (the biggest lance) to 30 (the smallest lance), so 25 is fairly small. The pokes aren't uncomfortable, but they consistently provide blood for me with just the gentle intermittent squeezing they recommend (or I'll hang my arms down low by my feet, that works for me as well- I try to avoid squeezing).I feel like I have normal skin, but the lancets that come with my glucometers don't work well for me at all, while these do work.
