I bought this and unfortunately I threw away the box before testing or I would have returned.

This is one thick and heavy, solid as a rock, Dutch oven. Designed for Sour Dough an general bread baking, this is one awesome and easy to clean unit. Being as I cannot eat the generic, fake bread on the shelves these days and cannot afford sourdough more than once a month, this has come in clutch as the cheapest way I can make sour dough. Even found a recipe from Seamus Blackley (The man who invented the XBOX) that is from a couple hundred years ago and it is as good today as it was then PLUS no preservatives. No question, this is a top flight item and if you like to bake bread, it will pay for itself in few months.

I could not be happier with this cast-iron Dutch oven! The quality is absolutely exceptional and the price tag is surprisingly reasonable. Make us a great value for the money. This is super easy to clean and has a very beautiful modern appearance. It’s perfectly size to fit a variety of cooking needs. It’s very versatile and gets a lot of use in my kitchen. I regularly made fresh bread in our Dutch oven. I have made rye and sour dough bread in this. This rounded oven bakes perfectly and is ideal to produce bread bowls for dips and soup extravaganzas. This would make an excellent gift for anyone who bakes. This oven is gorgeous I almost want to leave it out. This is a fair price for the quality oven that you get.
