We had new patio seating a few years ago, so we were looking to keep them clean between uses. We chose these covers because they matched a cover we had gotten for our BBQ a few years before that. The fabric is a good, sturdy material that looks like good quality and it fits our chairs very well. They are easy to put on and take off. We have this product in a BBQ cover, these chair covers, the fireplace cover, two lounge chairs, and a round table cover. One of these got a small tear from being taken off roughly by a guest and customer service replaced it quickly. So, for us, good product, good company.

I bought these covers just in time for the rain! These covers are fully water proof. I had a leak in the patio roof and there was a waterfall right in the center of my round table/chair set and one of the lounge chairs was left out but covered so it also got drenched. The covers kept all of it protected and NO water leaked thru! The fabric is thick and sturdy and durable. I am so glad I bought these covers! I bought 2 for the lounge chairs and one big one for our round fireplace table with 6 tall chairs and they all fit snug. If you want you outdoor furniture to last I highly recommend these covers. ps. I really didnt want to buy them, my husband insisted, Im so very glad I did!

I'm using the patio chair covers for furniture on a screened-in porch, so they get wet but not drenched. So far, am very happy with this purchase. Easy to pull on and off the furniture, yet heavy and substantial enough not to get blown off by wind. It also has a Velcro band to keep it snug. I think it would be very good for complete outdoor use, too.

UPDATE: Last year I took the covers off to wash them, they were a year old. The covers were mildewed and washing didn't remove all the black embedded into the fabric. My pillows under the covers do get funky over time. I am disappointed in the cover in that they should have been vented. The material is lined to make them water resistant though mine do not get wet. Luckily they fit loose on my chairs so wind can circulate a little around the chair. In Florida every thing mildews, venting is important.ORIGINAL: These Classic Accessories Veranda Patio Lounge Chair Covers are just covers. I was surprised to read on the inside packaging to "remove cushions before covering to prevent mildew".....what? There are no vents on these chair covers. My loveseat cover, from another manufacturer, that coordinates with these covers, has vent pockets. I assumed all covers come with vents! Luckily, my furniture is on a covered lanai, so they never get wet, and my cushions are staying under the covers. I hate the pollen and dust getting all over my cushions that after 6 years I decided its time to cover the furniture. I hate looking out and seeing the covers but the time has come to keep it clean! I got these as an open box item, "used-like new" and they came perfect. I had ordered a 'used-very good" and got a table cover and had to return it since it was the wrong item. These fit very loose, I wish they weren't so big but this size is what fit my dimensions. They have one strap at the back leg to keep them from blowing away. Really, one strap??? If these were outside one strap would not keep the cover from blowing away, there should have been 2-4 leg straps. There is an elastic draw string that tightens the bottoms marginally. Again, my chairs are in a covered enclosed lanai so that is not important to me, they can not blow away or really get wet. For those using these in outside elements, think twice about your needs and these covers.

They tear too easily

I like these as they do keep the rain and dust off my furniture and help the cushions last longer, but these covers do not last more than 3 months. I wish they were a little more durable!

It is not like the picture. I need to return them as they are not for the kind of chair pictured . They are for a long lounge chair. Please advise how I can return them.

Pros:- Not bad looking- Effective at keeping out debris, mild weather- Drawstrings let you tighten cover- Lightweight and easy to put on/take off- Not too costyCons:- Not great at dealing with heavy weather: rain gets in- Dries out and tears, becoming useless- Need to replace every year or year 1/2- Not durableAn okay chair cover while it lasts. We live in the Los Angeles sunshine, which dries out the material pretty quickly. No idea how these covers would stand up to real weather in less clement parts of the country.

Covers look great and fit well. After a few heavy downpours the cushions stay dry. Seem to be well constructed and made from durable material.

This will be the first off season our 2 Pier 1 chairs as they've previously always been used indoors. It was difficult to find any covers that were far too big or too tight a fit, but these ones worked perfectly. The adjustable back corner leg securing buckle and side pull helped to tighten it up so hopefully the covers will stay on the chairs even during blowing snow this upcoming winter.Heavy, decent quality, vent holes, I have no doubt these covers will last at least an entire winter or two.

These covers are easy to put on and off, provide full coverage and are durable and water proof. Since they are so weather proof I was afraid they might sweat in the sun and cause the inside chair cushions to be damp but this is not happening. The covers are not see through as the Amazon pictures suggest. Would recommend.

Good quality , good fit , hard to evaluate durability as only purchased two weeks ago. Had some heavy rain in the past two weeks and the covers protected the the chairs plus cushions from the element’s.

I have bought a few covers off of Amazon and these the only ones that have actually lived up to what they said. The material is is thicker and keeps the water out. Covers stay in place and don’t slip around. Would buy again.
