Nice notebook, good value
Was interested in trying hanji paper as a paper/pen/ink enthusiast. The paper is of moderate thickness but, more importantly, it does not bleed nor ghost with even a broad or stub nib. Solid notebook construction. Recommended.

Good for brush pen art designs. Could be journal too
Got it for a friend who does a lot of brush pen lettering and she loves it. The paper is thick so can handle calligraphy and writing on both sides. The binding quality is like a moleskin notebook.

Works really well for writing, drawing and some watercolor
I've been very happy with this little notebook. It's been rolling around my purse for the last 5 months (amid diapers, wipes, kid snacks and crayons) and the white cover still looks fabulous. I've been very happy how the paper has handled medium-sized watercolor washes and not bled through to the next page. It handles most inks really well, too. My tombow fude brushes haven't really made friends with the paper, but my Sakura Pigma Professional brushes and Micron PN pens have done well. My fountain pens have also done well on this mildly textured paper. The paper has a bit of a long, fibrous texture, it's almost like a Japanese rice paper, but more substantial. The pages do well to lay mostly flat while I'm writing without any curling or closing, making notes on-the-fly pretty easy. I've enjoyed this notebook. I hope you do, too!
